Sorry if this seems like a stupid question but I rarely make over seas calls :p

From Hong Kong do I just call the number   +(1) 800-525-5071 directly?

Thanks
Arrigo

ArrigoShred, get on the phone and call Westone.  +(1) 800-525-5071. It can't be that expensive.
I did it from China more than once to make inquiries.

Just wondering, What are you guys using to carry your ES5s.  Looking to maybe get another case for portability when I get my ES5.  The case it comes with looks huge in the pictures.

You are right the case is massive indeed and mine got put in a draw the day it arrived.

I use the case that came with my W4's and it's perfect. I'll snap a pic if you like with the ES5's inside but here is a pic of the case I got off the net.

Yes, can you take a pic comparing the Westone travel case vs the original case.

Monitor saver is an interesting way to take them around.  Maybe i'll consider that :p

Wow that looks like the perfect size.  The case that came with my Westone Um3x is kinda small, but that one looks good. ^^ Thanks.

The monitor saver is perfect for my needs. Very small and easy to carry around, more or less air tight and impact resistant construction. The desiccant pod has almost run its first cycle which was quick, I guess my ears sweat alot. I wouldn't even consider heading to a gig without it. Probably the best way to keep the clear cable, if that's what you opted for, from oxidizing and turning green.

Nice! Where did you buy the travel pouch? I tried directly from Westone website but they charge 25$ for shipping, while the pouch itself cost only 10$.

It came with my Westone 4's. The clam shell one that came with my Westone 3's was nice also. There must be somewhere selling them, I know you can get similar ones if you look but not actual Westone...

That's right. The country code is "1" followed by "800-525-5071". What you dial before the country code to access international long distance depends on whether you have a special rate plan. You could buy a calling card and then it costs pennies a minute.

I posted these pics earlier in the thread @cooperpwc likes to use the monitor saver from Westone I prefer the small UE hard case.

I do love the Monitor Saver. I use it every day. If I decide to use my TWcu cable on a daily basis (once it arrives), I am not sure that the Monitor Saver will fit anymore. I also have the Westone square case as pictured by SpudHarris, the Otterbox 1000 and the Pelican 1010. And I like the look of that UE custom hard case...

Cases are fun to collect and relatively cheap.

I'm using the little semi hard case from Westone. Nothing fancy, very functional on a daily basis. I carry the Pelican 1010 on trips. Big enough for my ES5 with TWag coiled and a ultra low profile LOD.

@Cooperpwc
You ordered a TWcu for your ES5? Do post impressions once you hear it. I'm wondering if I should get some bulk cable from Craig and ask my friend to DIY an IEM cable for me. I'm currently using the TWcu with my Senn HD600 and it sounds wonderful. Not sure about the synergy with ES5 though.

I do have the UE small case. It is very compact and nice looking. However, it is not scratch-proof which makes me wonder about long-term impact on its appearance.

But I guess that the best way to preserve and keep ES5 is still the monitor saver =)
