I've started to use TIDAL within UAPP. I am however seeing memory issues, especially when I use the TIDAL search function. This refuses to work after playing a few tracks and requires a restart of the programme before it works again. Surprisingly the remainder of the programme works and can select an album for instance, saved in my "Favourites". I know that TIDAL has now released a standalone programme which now works in Bit Perfect Mode but I'd like to stick with UAPP. I have it installed on my Zidoo Z1000 Pro media player (Android 9) - it works perfectly using local files. I suspect that the Zidoo's 2GB Ram is the problem and I'm looking for settings in the OS to see if I can maximise the memory.

However I'd like to ask if there are any settings within UAPP that I could alter to improve matters please?

Hi guys, weird thing. I've had two times now that after launching the Sony NW-ZX507, the UAPP app didn't want to play music. Had to restart the Sony DAP first and then playing music worked again... As I said, weird thing. Has anyone had similar experiences...?!

I have a pixel 4a5g and use the hidizs s9 pro. yesterday I started to get notifications that be on S9 was detaching and and reattaching back and forth to where using it is impossible. At the same time other apps like Poweramp or even SoundCloud would start once the S9 was reattached. Is this anything that can be fixed with the options in the software? If not how do I troubleshoot as to whether the problem is with the phone or with the s9? This also seemed to happen right after I officially updated to Android 12

Not to state the obvious but if you can totally eliminate that it could be cable-related, then go from there. It does sound though that if it is not the cable, it has something to do with Android 12. Not sure where the USB connection protocol stuff is in the pixel, I guess developer options, but have you seen what it's set at?

I've been noticing that Tidal access is lacking with UAPP. When I search for an artist, I cannot find compilations and instead find random various artist albums. Anyone else had issues?
Just sounds like Tidal acting like Tidal.

Okay. I do wish UAPP would allow you to explore other artists better. The usability is just a tad worse than Tidal, but it is nice to have top quality with my HIP DAC 2 and Fiio FD7
I agree.
My comment was a little tongue in cheek, but these streaming apps are constantly changing and re-organizing content. It would be pretty hard to try and keep feature parity with them. I kind of gave up expecting it.

I found the best way to manage music was to use your chosen service's desktop or mobile app to discover and sort and prep everything, and then UAPP to read and play my already set up content.

Yah, I'm just lazy in the regard I gather. I manage, rely on mqa picks and such. I found an album I love, An Evening with Silk Sonic...great on my PM3, superb on the FD7. I had no idea how much better music could sound. I'm even finding songs I don't love are enjoyable, simply because it sounds good

Got new Xperia 1 MK3.

Does UAPP not support direct DSD playback? DSD's do play perfectly in the Sony Music app.

Shows as below using HD Driver. Sound poor in UAPP.
I experience the same - my NativeDSD files are down sampled to PCM 375K on my Hiby R8 via UAPP. This does not occur in the Hiby Music Player- it plays the file at the max the DAC can handle as a DSD file - in my case 11.1MHz. I have UAPP set to bitperfect `on`.

I installed UAPP on my Pixel 6 Pro before it was removed from the store and I still haven't installed. UAPP works when playing through the loudspeaker and works fine with Bluetooth but USB audio is completely broken, also couldn't get USB audio working with Hiby. YouTube, FB2k works with USB audio so it must be an issue relating to exclusive/direct access to the USB DAC
