Found this- Someone with an S9+ and UAPP did some USB and network tweaks:I recently purchased this app so I could connect my Samsung tablet to my dac (Audiolab M-Dac) and the glitching makes it virtually unusable.
The only way I can get it to work is to select usb audio tweak 1, that gets rid of the majority of glitching, but there are still random pops in every track I play.
Its not so noticeable in louder types of music but in quieter types of music its very noticeable. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and found a solution, it does sound good and like to preserve with the app.

It's from a mostly car audio site but might be of some help.

I'll give that a go and see if it works, although without usb audio tweak 1 enabled the combination of app tablet and dac is unusable.
Well after a bit of investigation my dac has a 1.1 usb chip and doesn’t play well with usb 3 outputs.
The upshot is that the pops are a by product of this incompatibility, according to the dacs designer the dac is dropping usb frames and this is causing the pops.
So I'll have to change the usb speed settings and play with the buffer settings too. Hopefully that will help the situation.

Since your DAC could support only 24/192. Maybe you should limit also your sample rate to 192Khz under USB Audio.
Just speculating. Never had this problem since I have DACs w/c are USB 2.0 compliant.
My experience of glitches is when I want to play files having higher bit rates that my DAC could support.

The coax input is rated at 24/192 and that's max resolution of the m-dacSince your DAC could support only 24/192. Maybe you should limit also your sample rate to 192Khz under USB Audio.

The audiolab m-dac supports upto 24/96 with the usb input, qobuz through uapp is set at 24/96. Though the apps overall limit is set to no limit. Might have to look in to that too, just thankful that uapp has so many options that could be potentially helpful and a bit confusing.

Good luck bro. Have further problems don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks, the saving grace is my dragonfly black 1.5 works perfectly with my Samsung tablet using uapp.Good luck bro. Have further problems don't hesitate to ask.
Listening to miles davis kind of blue 24/96, not a pop. Sounds sublime.

Make sure bitperfect is on.
Hello I got a silly question here. I recently started using USB Audio player with my phone+Ibasso Dc04/Fiio btr5, since I can't always bring my DAP with me.
My question is: Does the perfect bit option must be on to play above 16 bits on local files? I have some 96khz/24 bit albums in my phone and I know that the DACs is playing at 96khz (with the bit perfect mode off) but It doesn't show the bits.
I say this because I like using parametric EQs and I can't do it with bit perfect on.

With my pixel 4a I get asked for uapp permissions every time I insert my usb dac and then get asked if I want to open uapp to handle the dac (dragonfly cobalt). This doesn't seem right and doesn't happen on other devices, where this is a one off question and the the device remember. Can anybody advise? Thanks.

"that's a new permission thing from Android since every app that has USBhost API access to a USB audio DAC could potentially record without the system knowing"
Apparently nothing can be done about it. Darn.

UAPP does the first unfold in software on any device, so 88.2 or 96kHz is always possible even on MQA incompatible devices.

If you paid for the MQA add-on, correct?
