USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

Hi,
To me qobuz is the way to go.
The implementation of that service into UAPP is not the best I've seen though.
I think they offer 15 days free for you to try it.

So does tidal.

Regards
Absolutely, I will definitely give both of them a try. Thank you!

Anyone have experience with UAPP on the Nvidia Shield? Seems to work well and I'm happy I can access Qobuz through my TV by using it. But one problem. It looks like its converting everything into android: 48khz. I've turned on bit perfect but its still converting. Any idea how to remove that on the Shield? I thought the Shield could decode the high res stream.

Maybe I need a DAC? I probably won't go that extra step (although I do have a DX 300, but I don't think I want to have to attach that every time I play).
Use internal Hi res DAC of Shield, activate it and your good to go, except MQA which it's hiss a alot

Does anyone know if there’s any way to adjust the sensitivity of switching between library tabs? Or…can anyone else sympathise? I frequently switch between tabs accidentally when scrolling up or down the grid view of albums…is it just me?

No idea what you're talking about :frowning2:
But I don't think I found that to be a problem.

I have uapp on a fiio m11 & mainly use it via a mojo2. I do tend to plug iems into the fiios 4.4mm output.

When not using the usb connector, does the "bit perfect" option do anything, other than disable the uapp eq?

Hi,

Me too.
But the question was about upsampling
If you disable Bit Perfect I also suggest to try not to upsample...
Just a wild guess of course...
UAPP bypasses the Android processing, which I believe automatically resamples to 48K, so even switching off bit perfect should still avoid any resampling. On my Hidizs dongle, bit perfect off but also EQ off etc, I still see the native file resolution displayed on the dongle which probably confirms this.

How do I remove a track from a playlist?

Don't see any option to do so after clicking the 3 dots on the right.
