When I’m testing 6.0 with DX300 I’m getting unfold only with addon. My R8 opposite doing full 16x unfold with no blue or green light - exactly how it is described in manual. I’m expecting DX300 also to be recognized as MQA decoder..

Speaking frankly, having before DX220 and DX220MAX i never got MQA unfold natively on both. Now the same experience with DX300 and DX300MAX.

The truth is that it is a shame, because UAPP is my application of choice and I really prefer to use it instead of Mango.

Hi, when I go to "my tracks" of Tidal it doesn't give me all the songs anymore.
Maybe UAPP Beta has limitations?

For me works like a charm.. Okay, correction: a bit slower than usual.

The R8 is a full MQA decoder and doesn't actually need the MQA add-on. Not sure on the DX300 (decoder or renderer?), maybe when Davy adds full support it will get sorted.

It is decoder, otherwise it won’t be able to go beyond first unfold in Mango and Tidal apk.

All MQA decoders and renderers go beyond the 1st unfold by design. The difference is that a renderer needs the 1st unfold done in software (2x) and a decoder can decode the original stream without software assistance. Non-MQA devices can still have the 1st software unfold (2x), but that's it.

MQA can be confusing.

I just installed the beta on my DX160. It sure looks like the interface has prioritized the tall skinny screen dimensions of modern smartphones over the more traditional aspect ratio found on DAPs. The first pic is the 5.9.9.9 and the second pic is the beta. Kind of disappointing to see the artwork get so tiny

Cool. I did a quick Google search before and it wasn't clear in the specs. I have an Hiby New R6 which is also a full decoder. Maybe Davy can get the DX300 sorted soon. There must be something odd about it (causing it take so long to support).

He did mention few pages back he finally got DX300, so, can test it now..
