A better way to phrase it:

Tidal won't allow offline mode on UAPP.

Re TIDAL offline mode not being supported, I wish I had of known that before I purchased as it renders Uapp useless for my use case.
We've been asking for this functionality for years bu Tidal won't budge.

As the previous poster had said, its just sad that Tidal won't budge.

It is already nice to have an app that we could use our popular streaming services thru our preferred dac/amp.

Yet too see an app other than UAPP, that will access Tidal offline files, as you said, while accessing your preferred DAC/Amp. Or at least, like UAPP, stream while using your DAC/Amp.

Good luck with your hunt.

Maybe so but as an end user I care less for who wont allow what, only that this vital feature does not work.

Comments & requests:

1. "Queue album" functionality: Only 1st album can be queued. When trying to add 2nd album to queue (i.e. to follow 1st album), 1st album gets replaced/removed completely. Very awkward to queue 2nd album by tapping each individual track separately.
2. Please consider: Option to replace artist with composer in Queue view (at least). Currently only able to see composer via metadata.
3. Please consider: Option to scale UI size (to fit more on screen)

(FWIW, I'm using MinimServer library.)

Apparently offline listening via Tidal is available on the new line of Astell and Kern players with the APK installed version. Not sure if this is an oversight by Tidal, if not then I don't see why that would be allowed and the same not allowed on UAPP.

It's allowed because it uses the Tidal APK, and the APK allows offline storage provided the file system supports it. It's no different than you installing Tidal on your phone or android DAP. And yes, the AK system avoids sample rate conversion I can confirm.

But it only has a semi-parametric EQ which allows for limited Q (filter width) and limited gain only. You can't change what frequencies the filter is centered on. Sort of pointless if you're into hunting down and nulling out peaks/resonances. Toneboosters is a true parametric EQ, but limited to 6 filters simultaneously. More than enough for properly equalizing.

Toneboosters is great isn't it. I like Morphit too. A little off topic, but the most effective eq/soundshaping tool I've come across is the MSEB system in Hiby Player. Very easy to dial in whatever sound you're after using sliding scales of musical attributes designated in plain English.

Hi, I have problem. UAPP detects my Dragonfly red as DAC with 48 kHz (blue color) and plays MQA tracks (Tidal pro) only in this quality (OnePlus 5). On my NTB Dragonfly works in MQA mode (purple color). Is something wrong in my setup UAPP?
