Yeah I never liked the triple flanges on my Ety ER4P, they were the only tip that actually hurt my ear.

Weel, it may hurt a little, but you may wang to try cuttuing the little plastic where the pin sits on and eventually may be able to expose some part of the pinto pull it out. Good luck anyway

Any chances? :frowning2:

1. You can bite the bullet and do a reshell, I'd say $200 is good value for money considering what you get.
2. I wouldn't try to yank them out with force or a nail clipper because I've seen what is underneath those sockets, it's like an 0.3mm thick stranded wire coated with wax soldered to it, you wouldn't want to upset that at all with any force considering that I've broken mine in my sleep out of nowhere after 2 years of reliable service.

You need to make a friend in the US who will fufil your warranty request for you as a proxy and then mail it back.

I can do that for you if you want to get in touch, just cover shipping. :)

My TF10's are on their way to Florida for a reshell. Group buy with Fisher, my Audiologist was terrific, $50, done in about 30 min total. She even redid my left ear since to her standards in wasnt perfect. She also said I had beautiful canals.

If anyone needs an Audiologist in Irvine CA, I can shoot you a PM with the info.

There was a time when I couldn't barely stand the TF10 sound. Well, since getting the Fiio cable the TF10 has quickly become one of my favorite IEMs. The fiio makes the TF10 sound how I always envisioned it might sound (deep bass, nice forward mids and sparkly but not harsh treble). Also nice details and instrument separation. Not as good as the W4, but it's in that tier for sure.

The FiiO cable rocks, so glad its going to be useable with my reshell.

I switched to the 10vi cable, and it's much better than stock.  The cable itself isn't as stiff as the stock one, and it doesn't have nearly as much "memory". I noticed a small improvement in the SQ mainly in the low end, but nothing very significant.  I have the FiiO cable too, but I really like being able to use the TF10s for phone calls and changing tracks.  Hopefully FiiO comes out with a cable that has the mic/call functions.
