Highly recommend Sunricky's cables if you want something cheap.

You're welcome. They are great, cheap cables that revived my TF10. Hope you like it. :)

Yeah definitely my next buy there.......Lunashops royally messed up my cables from a recent buy......dirty arse responses, not a matured/professional handling of orders and CS,pre & post sales...... SR is bang for the buck club.

I would like to order an aftermarket cable. Anyone have experience with both arete and the lune cable. I read the cable reviews, and from what I can gather, it seemed like the arete sounded better for the triple fi 10. I am stuck on which one to get.

I haven't tried the Arete cable but I did try the dark lord and it didn't last very long before breaking at the jack despite being gentle with them. Save yourself a load of dosh and get a couple of these- http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/311170868028?nav=SEARCH

They sound just as good as the silver coated DL in fact they sound the same to my ears but despite being a fraction of the price they have a proper moulded strain relief that actually works... Still going strong after 6 months it has far exceded my expectations!

After a 3 years honey-moon relationship with my Triplefi's...... the left channel  of the Fiio cable does not attach tightly enough to the earphone.....

My guess is that the female connector on the earphore wore a bit over time and MANY different sup-par cables.

I wonder if there is an easy fix to get a tight fit again....

Something to consider is what I did to the Estron Linum cable ( which I LOVE btw ) which I bought for my re-shelled TF10.
My left monitor socket had also become loose over time, so when the new cable arrived I GENTLY flattened the pins in a pair of jewellers pliers to make them wider in one dimension.

BE CAREFUL though, as the pins are surprisingly soft, a tiny bit at a time, be patient as it's easy to squash them too much.

If your TF10 sockets are truly beyond help, consider a re-shell, I got mine done by Cosmic ears and I'm still delighted over a year in.
This would allow you to get Linum cables with the new T2 plug

To anyone asking about which cable to buy, if the Linum 2 pin models fit stock TF10 sockets, I'd strongly suggest checking them out. ( the stock Linum 2-pin socket is 0.78mm pins, with a 1.9mm centre to centre spacing - dunno if this matches stock TF10, maybe someone who knows could chime in? )
I don't know if they offer more than one 2-pin configuration, they do MMCX and their own T2 though, so you never know.

Tried the Westone W40 as a X-mas present to myself.  Sticking with my TF10s!!

Tried the Se846, XBAZ5, FX850,UE900, W60, K3003.

Sticking with my beloved TripleFis out of an Iphone 6.

PD. The ONLY earphones that resemble the TripleFi10s sound are the K3003, however, the difference is price is HUGE..... and they have no detachable cables....

Well shoot.... I just jumped on that Ultimate Ears Reference train. I'm getting them in a few weeks. Hope I don't have the same reaction, cause I'll be stuck with them

triple.fi is my favorite iem but i've lost the right side and I dont find someone who want to sell only the right side. I have the sony ex1000 which is considered superior than triple.fi but I still prefer the triple.fi, I really love his sound signature.

I haven't arrived in time. =/
I'll still checking for someone who wants to sell the right side in the trade forum.
The tf10 is the iem that I usually use out of my home. I'm using the vsd3s for this but it isn't so good as the tf10 is for hard rock and heavy metal.
