The whole reshelling craze and the fact that someone recently cracked open the shell of a W4 and put in Shure connectors led me to wonder, what would happen if I transplanted the drivers of the TF10 into the much more comfortable shell of a W3 and put in a Shure/Westone connector? Sadly, I can't source the shell nor do can I source the connector but I'm sure some people could.

TL;DR: Reshell one universal...Into another universal.

I think I've posted about it in here before (it's a long thread) but I've never really had any problems with the stock cables, they last for ages and I'm pretty rough with them.

I have hung the cable if it gets really tangled but I usually just take it out of the case and lay it out.

I'm actually using a stock cable now vs a Westone (on old TF10) I gotta say I dont think the stock is all that bad.

my two month old pair of TF10's have now no sound in the right channel, i think its the cable as when i wiggle the part near the gold audio connector it has sound intermittently. how do i get a warranty claim on this? i bought it in the UK but at the moment im in singapore for the next 6 months at least.

Getting them replaced under warranty is going to be tough if you plan on going through Logitech, they dont have them in stock.

thanks! will try calling them

also, if i have to buy a replacement myself, which one is the best if you have a low budget? i kinda like the over ear type as i've gotten used to the stock cables. also durability is a major concern for me after these died so fast :frowning2:
