I am looking for very good build quality and high quality bass and mid tones.  This will be my new pair for electronic music, classical, hip-hop etc...

I also need them to be closed.

a couple of other things you might want to specify:
bass quantity or QUALITY? accurate bass that sounds like "real" bass should sound or accentuated bass?
do you intend to use that at home or everywhere? are aesthetics a factor? do you intend to pair them with an amp or do you need something that can be driven out of a DAP?

Bass Quality but I do want it to be a rich bass.  Not too low in the bass area.

I plan to use this pair at home. My main concern is I love to listen to my music with high volume late at night. I don't want my upstairs neighbor to hear me. The problem is I hear every movement they make in bed. This is why I need this pair to be closed.

Aesthetics are a factor and also build quality.  I will use a fiio e17.

Look into the new UE6000. Highly recommended. Take a look on this thread. Fantastic sound for $200 and check out tyll Hertsons video review on it. http://www.head-fi.org/t/623894/ultimate-ears-headphones-released-the-ue4000-ue6000-and-the-ue9000-impressions-thread#post_8632711  and this http://www.innerfidelity.com/content/surprisingly-good-logitec-ue6000-and-ue9000

Well then maybe the Beyerdynamic T70, especiailly given your preference for a more neutral quality rather than quantity type of bass. I am thinking of buying the T70 myself but am curious as to whether the inevitable noise leaking of the open T90 is an acceptable tradeoff for possibly better sound quality.

There is a pair of d7k used here. Asking price is $650, you might get them for $600 shipped.
