Great list. Few have been perched there consistently for consecutive seasons and few old horses IEMs still maintaining their hold in upper echelons. And a few latest sensations.Watercooler Top 3 Fall 2023 Final Tally

Another old horse Odin loosing ground is interesting but Raven taking its place is a welcome sight. Have to see how long the newcomers can hold their ground.

Out of all the newcomers, I’d imagine that Storm will be around for a while.

It became quite exciting after Canjam SoCal.What I find most interesting about this is are the IEMs that have a high number of votes despite being very new and elusive or even unreleased. Storm, Singularity, CA Bonneville, Fir E12 etc. Some exciting times ahead !
Very nice list. I own the top 9.Watercooler Top 3 Fall 2023 Final Tally

I highly recommend purchasing a tempered glass screen protector for your SR35, like one of these:Nice review of my favourite portable player.
I’m not sure if you mentioned this but it has a 20 band EQ (contrasted with the usual 10 band) which works like a charm for those who like to tweak sound. Also as someone who does not stream at all I can vouch that I typically get well north of 12 hours playtime per charge and idle battery drain is minimal. This is a great little player imho
https://www.amazon.com/brotect-Screen-Protector-compatible-Astell/dp/B0CCSY6J2P
The screen protectors supplied with the SR35 (and SR25 before that) have a very matte finish, and visually I find third party tempered glass protectors are much sharper and clearer. They are more reflective however, if you happen to use your SR35 screen in direct sunlight often. Indoors though they're a massive improvement.
Yeah! As always, thanks a lot for all the data and hard work! That’s really helpful for the community! Thanks man. I enjoy doing it. I have a fetish for lists.
In order to satisfy your lists fetishism, I’d like to submit a little suggestion, if you don’t mind!
The suggestion would be mostly for the big yearly survey where you collect all sorts of information like the iems demoed and so on.
Since you have the data, I was wondering if it would be possible (especially not too cumbersome) to add the number of people who actually demoed each iems next to the number of votes they got?
I think it would make the list even more interesting. Like having the success rate of each iems.
Because if, for example, one set gets 15 votes out of 100 people while another got 10 votes out of 10 people, I would be inclined to think the latter is more successful, despite having less total votes.
I don’t know what you guys think?
Also, I don’t mean to be greedy and give you too much work! What you’re doing is absolutely awesome already! I don’t know how hard or time consuming it would be to add that, but if it’s easy, that could be very valuable info!
Cheers,
Julien
Since the SP3000's sound is definitely in the "neutral" category, and it has great amplification, why would you want to change it? Just to have an open android?I want a really neutral DAP with better amplification than the SP3000
With its weight of 650 g and dimensions, the N30LE is also only in the "transportable" category. Portable DAPs are othersThe N30LE is undoubtedly expensive but it's a TOTL standalone device. Arguably quite a bit more portable than a DAP + interconnect + amp combo which I'd personally classify as really just transportable.
It seems to me like a statement made only to justify the crazy price you paid (13,000 US dollars) for this version of N30LE AP1. N30LE is worth more than WM1ZM2 and SP3000 combined as neither scales so high

Hardly can agree with you on this, sorry.
SP3K has the weakest amp among all TOTL offerings. It will make STEALTH sound loud enough, but bass would be anemic and dynamics compromised.
Even more powerful N8ii won’t drive this DCA headphone properly and it has much more juice.
Only stuff like DX320 MAX, RS8 or M9+ would be able to, imo.
I wrote about this before, but let me reiterate, that I have considered purchasing several different TOTL desktop amplifiers, including T+A HA200, Felix Envy, Vioelectric Nimbus. I had them on loan sometimes for several days.
Neither of them seemed a large enough improvement over a naked SP3k for me to justify their high price.
I'm not saying that SP3k was better than a desktop amp, but it was definitely good enough and the improvements seemed unimportant.
Maybe I'm not very amp-sensitive, maybe I like to listen to music rather quietly, maybe I like the soft style of AK reproduction.
Only Woo Audio WA33 and/or Chord Dave so far did made me drop my jaw.
And N30LE seems an improvement, although not as large as WA33 and Dave.
And I thought you were poor...Very nice list. I own the top 9.

No, it's a similar answer to a question pushed further:
Is AP worth more than 300 cheapo earbuds from Aliexpress?
Yes, one superb earphone is worth more than 300 crappy earbuds.
This is pushed to the edge of course.
But again, it's better to have one summit-fi DAP than two "just" hi-end DAPs.
