Help me which one is likely to be most satisfying I'm very tempted by the RS2 but nervous about the tiny screen. The double card slot is also a boon but the modern android and conventional layout seems the safe bet. So the RS6 does also look very impressive and has bigger screen but single sd slot. I'm usually buying used so new is a novelty sigh procrastination!
Wait a couple of weeks. There's another DAP coming that might be better than both.
u12t with the bassiest module? I'm going to keep trying...because I have nothing else to do haha.
Good try. I don't have anything bad to say about U12t. It was my first high-end IEM and first love. But I sold it because the bass was, um, not real bass.
Storm has the best BA bass I’ve heard.
That's the only one I'm actually slightly curious about, though chances are I'll never get to hear it.

No they dont. They call them "woofers" however they're not DDs-- they're a special kind of BA implementation. You can read about it here.
It’s two BAs that they’ve welded together to form a “double driver” with a single spout, so to speak. Sonion and Knowles have actually been making these kinds of drivers for years. JH’s quad drivers, for example, have 4 drivers firing into a single spout. But, this is the first time the IEM brand is doing the mod themselves, which is interesting. It adds a ridiculous amount of time and effort to their production cycle, and introduces a massive point of failure. But, hey, if they can pull it off, they can pull it off. :D

Ah, I made the assumption that 'woofers' meant DD.
A woofer generally just means a bass driver. It’s not driver-type-specific.

There's something about the Alpha Ti's signature that's triggering my 80s nostalgia something fierce. :open_mouth:

I'm guessing this is the line from your upcoming CanJam SGP head-fi TV video? ;)

... and, I need to hurry up and finish my CanJam NYC report. After the show, I have been working non-stop, crazy hours at my job, had to put aside testing/reviewing, and completely forgot that SGP show is just around the corner (next weekend), so I better hurry up.

Lol, I didn't specifically reference the 80s in my segment. But what I did say about the Alpha Ti got me thinking, and that led down an 80s rabbit hole. 🤣

EDIT: It's rekindling all kinds of memories of high school slow dances too...

Oh snap-- I wish that site translated to English.

I've emailed Andrew to see if he carries anything like that.
Satin Audio will make anything you want. Go to their website and pick out your components.

DAPs really are becoming like cell phones-- a different iteration of every model each year.
To be fair, the first R6 Pro was released in 2018 iirc. So it's been a while...

But yes, lots of new models and tiers, even different technology tiers now.
