I love it when a company has the guts to publish the frequency response for their product, meaning they didn't just throw some drivers in and call it "house sound" for what comes out, but really spent the time to properly tune it, and have the skills for tuning. Well done!

They sound pretty awesome. I’m excited for my coffee break.

I think the cable cost 4-5x the price of the IEM.

I can’t believe they made these with a removable cable for this price. Insane. The build quality is top notch.

Can’t wait to hear your impression of Rn6 as it’s really shaken up my Trifecta listening the last 3 weeks. I wasn’t an Xe6 fan but oh man do I love the Rn6. I have listened to the Red, black, gold and silver and each bring something different to the table. I recently got a Phatlab Phantasy tube amp and it is pure bliss. Just a tremendous IEM that, like you said, can do almost everything. The Kinetic bass is more engaging to me than Trifecta and it’s got a huge stage. Great to appreciate both of them.

It's early days for me with the Rn6 but I'm really enjoying it. It's honestly hard for me to compare Trifecta & Rn6 in an apples-apples way as they're so different. Trifecta is fundamentally a bass driven monitor. In fact the massive bass is the well spring from which the whole sound signature flows in a way that, love it or hate it, is quite unique in the IEM world. I don't find the Rn6 to be a bass driven sound-- it's a very balanced sound that happens to have really visceral and three dimensional bass due to the BCD secret sauce. Also, especially after having spent the previous 7 months listeng almost exclusively to Trifecta's 3 DDs, I'm finding that listening to a tribrid with BA and e-stats doing the mids and highs...is almost a fundamentally different category of experience than the full spectrum, full bodied immersiveness of a pure DD driven sound. Not that one is intrinsically better than the other but, as 007 once said, Peking Duck is different from Russian Caviar, but I love them both. Rn6 for me is more akin to a Solaris type experience. That said I'm really loving it and presently feel I could retire with my SR35 and the Rn6 right this second and be totally fine.

Well, being on vacation in Kent atm - without any gear besides my mobile and the Senn Momentum 3 - I remember two combos at home that gave me lots of goose bumps recently:

1. iBasso DX320X - Cadmus FE - AüR Neon Pro - Complys

2. Hiby R6P2 - Xinhs 2-Strand Silver Palladium - Penon 10th Anniversary - Complys

Upon arriving home and my earlier post on looking for cables for the trifecta i decided additional ear tip rolling first and remembered i had my pentaconn courier brass sitting around completely unused. Shoved the medium-small (blue ring) on them and we officially have portable speakers when with code23 and dx320 max. This may be just the combination . Basically, sub bass - the combination. Enjoying so far, plus these tips bring the mids forward a little bit, assisting in pushing back some of the mid bass over-forwardness and helping out the metallic treble timbre.

I received my Aroma Amp Stack (A100TB + PS100) last night. Man, goosebumps and beyond. What an incredible device the A100TB is! It is many levels up from my earlier favorite, the Astell & Kern PA10; I think the latter is not even close to it. It opens up the IEMs like none other and adds immense dynamics to the sound. But how it is doing so much is beyond my comprehension. I will write a review very soon. I think A100TB is alone super capable.

And if I add the Aroma A100TB + Ps 100 pro, everything becomes even more magical

Synergy time. What is your current favorite dap+iem+cable+eartip combo?

This had my revisiting some memories. Most of these I do not own anymore:

Mentor + SP3K / 320 max + stock cable / PW Orpheus + W1: 320 Max for the best bass / dynamics. SP3K for the best imaging and soundstage sacrificing bass and dynamics

XE6 + N8ii + Ode to Laura + eartune fidelity U (these get me the deepest fit): My source while rolling that just "clicked". The combo gave XE6 more texture and resolution.

Heres a bonus for a visual, not SQ pairing I liked :

XE6 + Aeneid + Ifi Go Bar Gold​

RS8 + Serratus: This combo was special. Made me realize Serratus scaled. RS8 gave it an extra deep soundstage and a sweetness to its tonality.
