Went to listen to some live music at the Duncan 39 Days of July Music Festival. I imagine it must be be longest music festival in the world. LOL

Anyways. It was amazing and I got to catch up with an old friend from high school that I haven’t seen in ten years or so.

&

Wesli

Both acts were excellent and I was surprised for a free community event.

Glad you had fun Daniel! Man it's nice having live music back again in BC. Life feels more normal.

There is iFi distributor here, but they didn't have the pods back then.

The more people ask, the greater the odds that your local distrib will place an order

If that's a viable option, I will definitely buy a pair! I asked because I read some time ago that you shouldn't change too often. It was a discussion about expensive cables, switching between IEMs and somebody mentioned the connectors weren't made for frequent changes.

Although that's not something I'd be too concerned about, various IEM connectors feature tiny pins, so upon dis/engaging them in their IEM sockets the connection between these mechanical parts may eventually become weaker.

How much of a sacrifice in sound quality will it be if I use the Pods with my iPhone? (of course the degradation is only caused by the low BT quality standard that Apple uses...)

This depends on who you'd ask, but many people here on HF would probably agree that i.e. LDAC is far better than a standard BT connection.

Synergy time. What is your current favorite dap+iem+cable+eartip combo?
Schiit Bifrost2/Jotunheim2 + Cadmus 8w + FiR Xe6 CIEM.

Sorry no DAP, no tips.

for $20 or whatever the MoonDrop ChuII costs it amazing. A massive improvement on an already incredible inexpensive IEM.

I received my Aroma Amp Stack (A100TB + PS100) last night. Man, goosebumps and beyond. What an incredible device the A100TB is! It is many levels up from my earlier favorite, the Astell & Kern PA10; I think the latter is not even close to it. It opens up the IEMs like none other and adds immense dynamics to the sound. But how it is doing so much is beyond my comprehension. I will write a review very soon. I think A100TB is alone super capable.

How does it compare to the blue Angel there?
