I had a chance to try all 3 and end up buying XE6 for the most exciting sound and the best synergy with my N8II DAP.

The XE6 is a lot of fun. The problem is that I listen to 80% singer song writer/acoustic music. The XE6 doesn’t excel with this music in the same way that Traillii does. I’d need to buy the Traillii first and then I could consider the XE6.

When I think about singer song writer I think mid focused sets like Isabellae. Traillii and Isabellae, mids are stellar to my ears on both. XE6 has too much energy low and high, mids are not getting as much focus, and the listening is not something I would classify as relaxed, which for me is better for that genre.

Definitely agree with the above @RTodd

I wish the Isabella had a bit more energy up top, it would then be perfect.

I really love the SoftEars Cerberus @Blanchot sent me. It’s a very good set.

1 - Fourte
2 - LX
3 - Khan with Mojo2 EQ
4 - EVO 3 w Mojo2 EQ
5 - Odin 2 w Mojo2 EQ

Any other EQ doesn’t cut it for me (even roon)

Softears mids are awesome.
For me, Isa's 8k peak is a problem for its lower treble body and resultant loss of energy there.

Results are definitely more eclectic this time around. FYI if you present a list with 5 on it I will only take the first 3-- also please no "ties"...each person here can only contribute 3 votes. Happy voting :)
