Awesome package! Did you received ACT02 chamber too?
The package is awesome and it contributes to a great unboxing experience. The build quality of the Sho and accessories is second to none.

I also received the ACT02 chamber. I might need to order the ARS153 balanced cable. The Typ711 from the sister company Madoo comes with 2 cables but not the Sho.

My personal preference ranking chart, most recent edition:

Screen Shot 2022-06-26 at 10.01.44 PM.png

The top two rows constitute my "S tier"-- but the IEMs on the top are there because they dovetail with my personal preferences or flat out knocked my socks off in some extraordinary way. The reason Jewel isn't on top is that I've only demoed it briefly and haven't spent enough time with it to really have a full sense of it.

In other news since it's officially summer I thought it would be a good time to revisit the "Watercooler charts". At the beginning of spring I asked everyone for the top 3 IEMs in their lives at that moment. The results were very interesting. Perhaps we could make this seasonal affair...so without further ado, what 3 IEMs own your heart at the moment? Criteria for selection is entirely up to you.

My votes:

1) Supermoon
2) EXT
3) Annihilator

This was click-bait imho.

I found it on r/headphones, which should have given me pause. Either way I deleted it from the post.

Never had the luck to hear the EXT, could you elaborate in what you find it better than annihilator?
Thanks.

substantial differences between Jewel and Traillii .... ???
Don't know Fabio as I've never heard Trailli and don't see myself swapping out Jewel for anything else anytime soon....

Apart from the Supermoon being my favorite at the moment the placement from L - R is mostly arbitrary, as is the 1-3 I listed. EXT's strengths for me are its dynamic timbre in the mids and lows and overall midrange tuning.

IMHO the biggest differences are Jewel's DD bass and extra upper mid presence. Paradoxically Traillii may be the more musical of the two and Jewel the more versatile (slightly). All of that said I've never owned either but have been fortunate to demo...in the case of Traillii multiple demos over the course of a year.

Edit: Jewel and Xe6 off to a good start. Will the Bird be unseated? Will this be the season of Aroma and Fir? Stop by the Watercooler over the next few days to find out...

I tried something in my car, I got a small type C USB adapter to Micro SD. Copied a library to a 512GB card. Plugged into one of the ports and I can access all the tracks. Cool, hopefully the car is not adding any compression to the lossless files. Sounds great.

Still amazes me how small this is and how many tracks are on it.
