Listening to more of the Phonix tonight and man it really is an outstanding IEM. Violins cry with such emotion and resolution it's giving me chills down the back of my neck. The treble is silky smooth. I finally realize and have tasted SummitFi level quality and it's really making me itch.

I’m sorry if I gave that impression but I don’t have a Phonix In fact it’s one of the IEMs that was / is not on my radar, I used to have Erlk and was really not interested in setting no. 2. I think if I were to consider an all-BA IEM without BCD etc, I’d prob get the Elysian Dita

Hi! Lee told me that the 1zm2 pairs very well with the Annihilator. What do you think about his point? How does 1zm2 compare to the n8ii when play with Annihilator?

(Word has it) Lee tuned the Annihilator (probably X too) using the DMP-Z1, and he's also recently picked up the WM1AM2, so I don't doubt that the his IEMS will sound good with these Sony players. One thing the Annihilator will need to scale is power, the more you give it, the better it will sound.

That is my favoritest Pianoforte, even more so than the Lab-2! It is such a different listening experience. Thanks, I will have to go resurrect my PF X-CC now.

Very much like customs, no tips. Super comfortable and as close to listening to speakers from in-ears as it gets! No isolation. Other worldly, if you ask me, completely unique.

+1...I owned the PF-IV and it was one of the most comfortable IEMs I have ever owned!

For giggles I tried the Phonix with the UTWS5 wireless adapters and it still sounds incredible. Drives them easily given how sensitive they are. This pairing might very well be in my crosshair in the future. I've yet to spend time with EXT but I'm gonna have to try out supermoon again and trifecta before I make my next move

I asked Lee about this. It’s actually not true. He simply used his phone lol. But he does say that DMP-Z1 is the best pair up for them

Nope. I have Annihilator and X on their way to me now but not the Diva.
