I have Fitear DC on my demo wishlist as I assume this sounds the same as DC Ti. Not sure if you have looked into the differences? Perhaps @Crazeee has?

Since I bought all my stuff at Uncle Wilson I could ask him to send a set in to demo but I think our tax department would want to have a word with me; even if it's a sample that will be sent back a week later. It is the most anticipated IEM on my wishlist though. Time for a trick... 🤔

Need to make your way to Singapore again. The key with the DC ti demo unit is to try different tips. The demo unit is a shaved down custom which does not seal well with all tips. That was my problem last year when I heard it when we were together at Jaben SG.

I am partial to anyone who likes Linda Thompson. She couldn't perform live for decades. But what a beautiful voice...
I though it was Elvis's girlfriend.

Perhaps because he's quite dead? Like, over half a century?
OK, this was not supposed to be funny...but it's funny! It's not funny!

I think Mozart (chocolate?...nooo) is underrated, too.
If you consider how many people listen to mainstream music worldwide,
and how many people listen to classical music....Mozart is heavily underrated, too!

I just don't get this term "underrated"...how do I come to that calculation anyway?
Where do you find those statistics?
If you surf the YT for music...you will see this "underrated" claim for almost any and every musician...
Even when a video clip has 45 million views.

I am underrated, too!!! :ksc75smile::ksc75smile::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Cheers!

We recently had a Watercooler poll that asked for under $2k favorites; this new Voltage would have taken either the Quattro or CFA Black Star off my list.

Voltage managed to squeak in and take Quattro off my list

I’d thought of comparing it with Black Star among others around its price range after it’s had longer burn in, but I can already tell Voltage operates on a higher level in terms of refinement and sheer ability.

Beautiful mids supported by gobs of timbral and textural detail across a holographic stage.

While I've not heard the Impacts, Voltage has, without question, the best mids I've heard in a Penon and maybe period.

Impact has lovely mids, it is true, but Voltage has the advantage of well implemented DD bass sloping smoothly to those mids.

Great impressions! This week has been insane and I’ve only managed brief snatches of time listening to mine in between burn in, but I concur with what you’re hearing.

Going through the slow process of loading up my new 1.5TB microSD card - doing it in blocks of around 100GB just in case of any failure… decided to then test it in the 1AM2 and works perfectly - interestingly it’s showing as 1.54TB so some bonus space :) Incredible to think of the 1000s of albums in lossless on a tiny card.

And now listening to the wonderful X4…

It's like living in the future! :grinning:

I love seeing content like that depicting how technology might evolve - I used video content from archive.org to accompany some tracks back when I was uploading to YouTube, this one was from 1967 looking forward to 1999…

Who knows, one day we may even be able to log into a streaming service on a DAP and access millions of albums, just like that!

Everything I want I can't afford, and what I can afford fails to inspire me...
