That's exactly what I was thinking. The drivers are pretty good quality for such a cheap HP. So its a WIN for us!
Sometimes it amazes me how much they charge for cans that are just a redesign of ones already produced.

If a headphone only costs $60, it doesn't always mean that it's cheaper than a $200 offering. Spending more money, does not always equal a better product. For many headphones, I'd be surprised if any of them - where 99% are made in China, had a set of drivers in them that cost more than a $1 or $2 a pair. The cost on top of that goes into Research and Development as well as selling costs - advertising an profit.
In the end, though, it's pretty amazing what $40 - $60 buys today with regard to headphones. With Sennheiser, a replacement pair of ear pads for the HD-600/650 costs $58.00 for the pair. Some of the markups can be a bit extreme.
