seeing as you have both the th600 and takstar, how do they sound in comparison to each other?  I know the price difference is huge but wondering if I would like the fostex in comparison.

To be honest the Takstars are no comparison, the TH600 is better in every way. Where the Takstars could even remotely compete is the mids, which is a bit more lushious than the TH600 although the TH600s have more clarity (in all areas). My Takstars are my beaters which I can throw on ay any time, watch a movie, listen to something while I hang out the clothes etc.

I have let a couple of my friends (non-audiophiles) listen to my Takstars and then my TH600s and then I tell them the price of the TH600s is probably over $1000 RRP but I got them for $580, then I ask how much they think the Takstars are, they say maybe $200-$300. When I told them I got them for $69 delivered they went and bought one themselves.

If I didn't have any other cans to compare the Takstars would be awesome, but really in comparison to the TH600s, its sounds a bit rough and unrefined. But the sound is not way off, in a way the sound signature is not too different. My HE500s, Mad Dogs and my HD600s are more different in sound signature to the TH600s than the Takstars is. Which is why I like the Takstars so much, to me its like a baby brother to the TH600s and sounds great with EDM, which is 90% of my music.

Has anyone compare the Takstar 2050 and Pro 80 with the ATH M50? I would really love to hear the comparison as there are so many people who vouch for the M50, but that may be because they are pretty mainstream. But, if they're in fact better than the Pro 80 I would be considering getting the M50 as my next pair.

I had the m50s for about 3 months. Didn't really like it that much. Don't know what the fuss is about. No detail, blurry sound, bloaty bass and veiled

Heard a pair of m50 and owned the takstars. Takstars hands down.

Try Takstar TS-671. Far better in almost all term except bass quantity (which can be fixed through adding some amp

).

im using creative hq1400 right now and looking for something like this. itq very good, has clear sound that i liked but broken :frowning2:

i read about takstars but i realized that their max input power is about 500mw. is it why they need an amp ?

anyway, im looking for a headphone a bit better than hq1400 and max $50 price.
no amp :D just for watching movie and listening some indila - mini world - flac :)

Could someone offer a good clear sound headset with good bass...
im having headache with cheaper headphones after i listen about an hour.

is it good for me or there is better option for that price ? it is 100mw max power : http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Takstar-T-S-HD-2000-Monitor-s-Earphones-Stereo-Audio-Mixing-Recording-Professional-Monitor-Headphones-DJ/639551_1556193303.html

just get the takstar pro 80

You mean it doesnt need an amp ?

I've got the Pro 80 and it definitely doesn't need an amp to be driven. I listen to it on my phone, PC and the TV. I'm still yet to try it on an amp but I bet it would be much better, but they sound fantastic as they are.
