I have Dignis black on black case for AK100 and much less scratches on it after 4 months than the AK120 iriver brown casa italiano for 4 days.... :frowning2: Never had the iriver AK100 case so not sure if the same soft untreated leather is used as in the AK120 one.....

So, sorry for interrupting the case discussion, but can anyone help me out?
So I ended up with an idea of how to bypass the 22ohm. But just few questions.

According to this image(top), there are 2 things I have to solder. But this kind of varies from this:

 Which one is correct?

In theory, if the top picture is correct, wouldn't it be better to just do that than to use a cable(like RWA and MS does)?

I believe the reason Vinnie uses the cable is because it allows bypassing of all the circuit board traces so your signal path is short and
carried by higher quality conductors. Hopefully someone can confirm this as it's just my understanding of what I've read.

I've got the first silicon case for my AK100 from China.  Which costs about 14US$, and the quality is not bad, fitted my AK100 perfectly.  Which should be a cheaper alternative to the leather case.
