I see a few labsters stretching out their review muscles tonight (Nik and Adam), and @acain (Adam) decided to come out of retirement

Figured, I might post another review as well (my review queue is finally going down, yeah!!!).

So here you go, Beyer Custom Street review is up:  http://www.head-fi.org/products/beyerdynamic-706205-custom-street-headphone-black/reviews/14841 - on-ear scaled down version of their Custom One Pro (COP).

In reality, I wanted to give it 3.75 stars, but rounded it up to 4.  Excellent build, lots of customization features (both sound wise and earcup design), daisy-chain cable connection.  On-ear earpads were a bit of a PITA in my case with smaller ears, and sound is not audiophile quality, but still great.

They're the same. One just got the bass ports open while the other got them closed. This can easily be adjusted by the user to make them either closed or semi-open.

Edit: If the intention is to mod them the MKii may be a better choice if they're cheaper (MKiii afaik is a modded version of the MKii).

Thanks Peter, that is good to know, I was wondering why they were the same price, I wonder with the T40iii would you have to drill holes or just remove some tape to make them ported.
