I was hoping to see a Sansa Fuze like clickable wheel on X5, it is just like the wheel on Ipods except they are mechanical wheel.

May I ask why X5 didn't use Sansa Fuze style wheel, is it also patented by Sansa?

We can't find a factory to help us make the clickable wheel, it is not a standard components.

All as well. I have a bad experience with clickable wheels and will prefer not to have it again.

You mentioned a X1 in the future along with the X7 which we understood to be the future flagship. What about the X1? Is it going to be priced lower than the X3?

yes, X1 will be the most portable and affordable 192k/24b DAP in the world.

Just like to say, James, you are an outstanding businessman. You keep open, honest, and frequent communication with your customers; and accept criticisms and opinions with open arms. That is just admirable and you have earned my respect as a genuine business man.

I am a Chinese/Taiwanese living in New Zealand and one of the local Hi-Fi store owner just loves Fiio products. He told me that your products are very well made and are of very high quality. It is because of his enthusiasm I purchased my first portable amp and DAC combo: Fiio E17. And I've got to say, I am very happy with it. I am also very proud to be a Chinese as Fiio, a Chinese brand, is well regarded by fellow head-fiers in NZ.

Of course Fiio DAPs are not perfect, as there is no perfect DAP. But I am definitely going to purchase X5 when it becomes available in NZ. And I am going to save for the upcoming X7 in the next couple of years. I am very excited to see what Fiio can come up with to surprise the audiophile world.

Good on you James, and I hope you and your team at Fiio will continue to grow, while maintaining your genuine approach to business and your customers. 加油。

I'm getting more and more impressed by Fiio as time - and this thread - goes on. I already own and love my X3 and am really looking forward to the X5.

James and his team will deliver the goods with the new product I'm sure. They deserve all the success that's coming to them.
