Another small request for the X5...
 
I still listen to X3 on and off with ASG-2 as I feel great synergy with this pairing... however, I am a little bit annoyed with the "pop" sound when you play the first track of an album.... I will only wear my earphones after the pop sound as it is quite discomforting to hear that pop sound... i am not sure if we could live without that...

James, UI looks nice but I hope it will flow smoothly without a problem even with full 128 gb of music (or maybe 256 in future). I am all waiting for this dap, didn't go for iPod Classic and still only reading about DX50. Make it worth to wait man.

X3 has not problem to supports cover display for alac and m4a, and we are working in AAC files now

It was unable to read ID3TAGs on M4A files when it first came out but now it works like a charm.

all the spec of X5 is better than X3 except the output power is almost the same. and we are making 20 pcs engineer sample right now and will start trial production in next month, the mass production will be done in Dec.

I will hold off my shopping until then. Then decide on my next DAP/source purchase.

Great news! I think the output power "issue" was way overblown and I think output power was least of the things I want improved for x5 over x3. Being a big sucker for new DAP I will surely be picking up one for the first batch just as with X3. Hope the aesthetics and finishing would be as good as the sound and will be a keeper!

instead of
