It's in the Deals thread IV in General discussion. There's a guy posting his email promo link that show the X3 at $139.99

OK after much time.... finally back to where I was with solidly working X3. I really am having a love/hate relationship here. Back to love again. By the way, I ended up updating the media library like every 2-3 cd's to be on the safe side. I found out the issue and I have one album that would freeze the X3 each time it would try to update it, thus the reason for updating the library to isolate any other album conflicts.

Do you mind sending me the problem album in question? :xf_eek:

Anybody who is willing to help a fellow Head-fi'er out, by buying this deal: http://www.adorama.com/FIX3.html?emailprice=t&utm_term=ir&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=Other&utm_source=  and ship it to Denmark, in Europe? I'll pay the shipping charges ofc and you get the chance to test the Fiio X3 before sending it Denmark. Payment will be done over PayPal. Anyone up for that?

Is that actually going to work out any cheaper for you by the time you have paid shipping costs and import duties?

Yes, especially if I don't have to pay the import duties, which i unlikely when it is send as a personal package between to persons. I'm still studying, so saving where i can is important to me. Also, if someone is interested in this but want to try it out before purchase, i'll gladly help with that

It's win-win!

I can't help cos' the shipping to Singapore is way too high (40 USD); I just thought that if you mention a specific timeframe it *might* be easier for people to commit

Fair enough,
Well i think it's up to the individual how much time they need. So we'll agree on something if someone is willing to go with this.
I know it is unlikely, but head-Fi users continue to amaze me with their kindness and besides, if I don't even try it sure never is gonna happen.

I deleted it but I have backed up all of my music catalog on another TB drive and I found it. Tell me how to get it to you, fortunately it is a smaller FLAC 212 mg.

A poll of sorts: I wrote to FiiO:
"“Browse Files” should be the 1st menu item, not the 5th, since it is used every time one wants to change albums. (“Play All” should be at the bottom -- who ever wants to play everything on the player?!?)"
They replied that as far as they know the current menu does reflect user preferences:
"Regarding to the suggestion that “Browse Files” should be the 1st menu item, not the 5th and “Play All” should be at the bottom, kindly inform you that, it is a problem related to the personal habit. Many of our customers are satisfy with the UI."
So I'm curious if most folks indeed use play-all more than browse-files, as well as the other items that are listed above browse-files in the list.
If I'm in the minority, no prob, but it seems wacky to me....
