After coupon and coins, this came to just over $32 shipped. The wait is finally over—sooner than expected, though.
TRN has officially launched the Medusa on AliExpress for $49.99. With this coupon, you can get it for $37.99 here you go: Code-KYVMAVXEFOJU.

As of now, the TRN Medusa is the most expensive IEM in the TRN Aquatic Series. However, this price is reasonable considering that it features a second-generation 12mm DLC driver (compared to the Conch, which had a first-generation 10mm driver). Speaking of the Conch, the Medusa shares all the accessories previously bundled with it. These include an aluminum case, three sets of TRN T-tips, three sets of standard TRN tips, and a pair of foam tips. Additionally, the Medusa comes with the new TRN Sea Serpent RedChain Modular cable (QDC). Unlike the RedChain, which is a mix of silver-plated copper and oxygen-free copper, the Sea Serpent is fully silver-plated.
Funny thing: I was prepared to buy the Medusa right away, but TRN contacted me, saying I won the giveaway they held months ago because I guessed its official price correctly based on the photo alone. I still can’t believe it! Recently, I’ve been a giveaway machine—first the Merga, and now the Medusa. Maybe I should consider investing in the lottery…
As a side note, the tuning looks very promising too!
So, here are some images from AliExpress: (there are some others too, but I’ll just stick to the following because I don’t want to take up too much space!)
I wonder how accurate that graph is. That treble goes downhill fast after 6k.The wait is finally over—sooner than expected, though.

I reckon you'll f*cking love it. I think it's your kind of tuning, Monk. Mine, too!So much talk about this $75 Single DD I will have one incoming
It’s probably right at my limit, if that drop off was any steeper it would sound blunted. Not bad for what it is, but the graph is also very smoothed, as are Crinacle’s graphs to a lesser extent.I wonder how accurate that graph is. That treble goes downhill fast after 6k.
Glad to have you back and active. You're really making up for lost times with a brand new IEM every other day it seems lol. After coupon and coins, this came to just over $32 shipped.
Including the modular cable made it where I couldn't resist.
Especially for that price.
Thanks for the heads up.
Very Disco indeed!

And yes. I was dormant earlier this year but getting back in the groove!
I’ve only had it for a couple weeks, but the DC-Elite is serious business. I legit have no need for my budget desktop stack anymore.I am currently considering if I should snag an iBasso DC-Elite to round out my portable DAC collection with a ROHM based chip...
