Nice, Dunu DaVinci released. Glad to see it uses 2 pin.
Yes, but it looks like they are using squared recessed pins, like on the Myer Audio SLIIVO SL41 (Final Version) and SLT6 that @ToneDeafMonk is talking about in his video here:
youtu.be/wA9qUj6KP0E?t=377

TDM also asked Myer Audio about the connector and it is the "new" DUNU connector.
(Maybe DUNU is behind Myer Audio? SLT6 and DaVinci also both have wooden faceplates.)

So be prepared that 95% of your NiceHCK and other recessed 2-pin cables will NOT work :frowning2:
But the original cable looks very nice, so there might not be the need for a cable swap.

Edit: will NOT work

Thanks for sharing your impressions! I actually wasn't aware of the mic option, so thanks for bringing that to my attention. I'll update my post accordingly. The Lacquer tips sound interesting; I've never bought anything from Penon before, but I'm curious to try them out now. How do they compare to the Divinus Velvet or Final Type E tips? I'm a big fan of those, as well as the DUNU S&S tips. I've also given the DUNU S&S and a few Spinfits a try with the ST7, but they didn't quite work for me. The Aur tips you mentioned seem impressive. It would've been great if they were up for sale!
The Lacquer tips are really good for establishing a seal and keeping it. They have a sticky coating, but they don't warp. It improved highs and lows, but can, like in the instance of the ST7, recess the mids some, while with other sets, they can tighten the bass and really focus the highs. They are really good for short nozzle IEMS.

Thank you for the info! :thumbsup:I've already placed an order for the Black and Orange colors in L and XL sizes. Let's see.

Almost identical! I've never heard the Olina though.

Quite unique tuning, very pleasant. Softears Twilight is also similar - it is Olina SE on steroids: better air flow for sure (only dampened by foam)

Judging by tuning alone, I would say that due to the dip at 4k the Polaris will be less shouty/edgy in vocals and some instrumentation but it still remains at a high enough level to not lose clarity. Also those two decently sized treble peaks you see don’t have heavy valleys between them, which in theory results in more even and resolving treble. Better than Olina in both accounts.

Looking for basshead IEMs to feel the slam & rumble? I've just finished my review of the surprising TSMR FEAT which you're invited to read here.

Cool mixing effect that the ST7 handled with aplomb on David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust. It's part of it's ability to present a spatial soundscape that can get orbital. The drum kick appears to come from the back of your head down your neck. Very cool instrument placement, and a great classic album.

Note that the sign above Bowie: "K.WEST" - is how Kanye chose his name. An indie guitarist mate of mine (- signed to Creation Records) put in a huge bid in to buy it. However, the winning bid was ballpark £250,000 !!...you'd definitely need deep pockets to snag such an iconic piece of history....also considering that its legacy still continues.

For me Polaris is better set then Edx Little or Edx Pro X, D-Fi, Zvx.

Edx Pro X is a bit too bright and need to be moded.
Zsn pro2 is definitely too bright, but I can't fix it, so I sold mine.

My moded Polaris is probably flattest pina gain iem from CCA/KZ, but unfortunately I haven't measurement rig. :frowning2:
Wait, Polaris better than D-fi ?! I just got that in and am testing it and am totally blown away. Wally the best single DD I’ve heard yet… possibly can rival my AirPods Pro 2 in some cases.
