This is a worthless argument I'm not getting involved in.
Neither am I.
Your option of no need to looking beyond Timber, bass and smoothness is just as vague as it gets.
Nothing to argue if you just don't see beyond that.

The Artti T10 is $61 right now on Ali. I wish I had the spare funds

Even more cheap on this listing (if you follow the store)
I don't have much to compare it with but I really end up loving this IEM so much I ordered a second one. Would probably be more interesting to continue my journey through audio land and buy better or different stuff but ah well.

FiiO’s updates this year sound pretty somber.

Anyhow, successor of FD5 is coming 🎉🎉🎉

I might cave and grab one just due to nostalgia of the FD5, the first expensive IEM I bought.

Oh, and Hifigo said AFUL Cantor wouldn’t be here until mid year. I cry

Simple setup to start the day. Simgot EA1000 and the QP2R pair so nicely together. CMA 18P is also a great companion for the EA1000.

All this sounds amazing to me except for one thing...I accept only metal shells at that price point.
For now, resin is at about $500 for me. Otherwise, I would probably jump on that boat, too.

Enjoy!

Cheers!
The level of craftsmanship which has been put into designing those shells is unmatched. I don’t think any metal shell is designed so meticulously. Not at that price point for sure. If you are worried about the durability, I think these are quite durable.

Oh... Think I shall then succumb to that Mirai X... Will you be reviewing it by any chance?
With fd15, I then take it you are not dipping into sound rhyme pool?
I have 10 buck left in my IEM fund. I’m not buying anything for a long time :dt880smile:

Arre you just mentioned f15..!

Cantor would anyways be above my budget. Will be around 700 USD at least. Was thinking of getting a dap like that m300 or something in used market (Suman, don't even think of reaching out with an offer on something I can't refuse! ). Now decided against it, plan to put it in one iem: Mirai or should just let it be a Mirage for now.
Ideally, I should just unsubscribe from this (insert expletive of choice) forum! Will stay away for few days, only use it as radio for song recos on another thread I dip into. This discovery thread sucks :)

Meanwhile, my Tanchjim Zero has just arrived even as I am typing this. That waifu lady seems to have an expression of irony. Grrrr...

You can still get some KZ that will rival 300-500$ IEM maybe?

Yo whats up friends? Crazy to think how I spent almost 1 month to catch up every pages here when I missed all the posts from around November 2023. I'm pretty much on pause game, or near end game with Z1R and Mest paired with Fiio M17 and BTR7 for portable, and I managed not to buy nearly anything in half year (except castor to test, and I got 1 nice TWS buy, the soundpeats Engine4 - dual DD TWS with superb tuning with LDAC, oh and 1 edifier GX05 gaming TWS that near lagless due 2.4ghz connectivity other than Bluetooth for my gaming needs).

There are few IEMs here that I find them interesting, Pula PA02, great tuning, within good price, odin-like shells, and there is another simgot EA500LM which i think like Oxygen and Kato killer (while Tanchjim have Origin in case the Oxygen is knocked out by EA500LM but seems like the upper bass part is too thick to my liking, and quite hefty price tag too), the Fiio FD15 hopefully have better tuning than FD5, especially the mid and upper bass portion that I feel too thick aka bleed so much.

Then I really feel I have rediscover something, while using BTR7 I feel the sound quality is great despite coming from very little and portable source, very convenient and "enough". I wish there is an upgrade to this little buddy, but I can only find Ifi Go Blu, which is maybe more like a side grade to BTR7. And suddenly one of my friends was going to sell the old tiger, Sony NW-WM1A, never been slight on my mind that the old WM1A is already support LDAC codec and can be used like BTR7, of course with better SQ with bigger size as compensation (and price of course..) but still very portable and pocketable I think and I contacted out buddy @baskingshark since I remember he has one. Sadly the deal went off because of battery drop issue, well.. But I think im still going to hunt one.

And little question for who has both Simgot EW200 and EA500LM, how far are their gap?

So good to be home again here. Cheers!

This is exactly the kind of question I would get a serious answer too. Guess we'll have to wait for reviews from other reviewers. In the reviews published so far, no one has attempted to answer it in detail.
