The Gray Rhino cable from NiceHCK is a nice match for the Hype 2.

How are the microphonics on these?

That acoustic tubing does look like a person's guts.

Magic One is probably one of the more unique IEMs I've seen in a while but it allegedly costs $140 which is A LOT for a single BA config.

Aful priced their P8 at only $379, you'd think the single BA model would be around 60 bucks tops.
Come on, man! This is their money grab move. They hope it'll get really good reviews and turn on the neutral heads into picking it up for that price, making them more margins than the other product.

Pretty good for a fabric covered cable.
Really no issues as long as it doesn't catch on clothing.
This cable is fairly thick and feels premium, especially for the price I got these for over the summer.
Not sure why it took me so long to try them out.

Eh, I know the QC issues exist, but I've been daily driving the hype 2 for months now with no problems so, take for that what you will.

You have kilobuck IEMs lije the dark Saber or the EE with broken cable sockets. Not that QC issues should be ignored but a more balanced view would be good to see too.
So by balanced, do you mean excusing bad QC because "everybody has it" or "if kilobuck companies can have it, so can everyone else?" Is that what you mean?

I'm picking up some tips on 11.11. If I come out of it with any IEM's, it will be a huge surprise. I'm sitting here listening to my seldom used KEF M100's, and honestly, they are as good as the RE800 silver or the Sennheiser IE100, with just slightly less stage and a touch more warmth, but musical as heck. Excellent bass speed and enough treble to satisfy and good mids. Not the most resolving, but still...as resolving as the Cadenzas or the Z300.

Finally got the eletech baroque tips in, and depending on how they fit the Fatfreq scarlet, they might be the be-all tips for me. Very comfortable. Might be one of my most comfy tips. Sounds wise I will say the highs and mids come through splendidly, if anything I wasn't getting the slight reduction from the Azla max or some of the sibilance rom the spinfit 145. The highs and mids really shine with these. The bass though. There is a slight, very slight reduction in overall bass volume, but they seem to give me some of the tightest and least bloomy bass compared to other eartips. Might it be the inner bore reflection system? Who knows, might be just all in my head too. Still, really impressed. Also much much cheaper than the pentacon coriers lol

Exactly the same impression as I did. The seal is very crucial, otherwise, the bass reduction can be a little bit too much. However, in my case, I was using a headband to wrap the IEM to my head, I got the most the benefit without too much sacrifice. I was also using Baroque tips in my home, unfortunately, to some IEMs, the loss of bass is just too much.

My seal is pretty good. Almost perfect actually, though I have slightly different canal sizes on my ears. But never broke seal.

Though on a side-rant, this is why I hate that eartip companies seem to sell them at specific sizes each instead of having a pack that has all the sizes. So if you bought a wrong size you have to waste money again if they don't have a good return policy.

I was expecting they could squeeze in at least 22 BAs together with the 2 DDs... but for just 20, I'll pass.

It's a shame, because the faceplate isn't bad.

I'm also stacking coupons for this 11.11 looking around for cables.
I was wondering If the NiceHCK DragonScale was worth it for the sales. Does anyone have any experience with it?

I also saw in the comment section of the NiceHCK Spacecloud Ultra a very good resistance measurement from the cable. Any opinions about it?

How are you going to cram so many drivers but still have such bad rolloff on both ends lol.
It's probably combined driver count. Instead of saying "Driver Units of each side," they say "..of 2 sides."

It's likely 1DD+10BA on each side.

Hey, it was quite challenging, but they did it... look here.

And yes, the tuning was not easy too.
Are you implying that their 23 followers of the store are all wrong?
They have many other fine products, check 'em out!
