I was planning to get this cable to pair it with the Fan 2 (solely because of its looks): https://a.aliexpress.com/_mrx2ehe

...but being it copper silver alloy, I wonder if it would affect (negatively) the sound (!?)
Copper-silver alloys should not be used - their resistivity can be almost 10 times higher than that of pure metals; also alloying smaller amounts of silver actually makes copper more prone to degradation - look at the pictures of Mexican coins where they used 50% and less silver.
Having said this, the truth is likely lost in translation, and these cables are made of silver-plated copper, as it is most common, and should be.
No one yet proved any meaningfully that copper and silver wires of the same conductivity sound any different, so everyone is free to totally imagine anything they like about them. (Watercoolers taught me that hobby is a hobby, so rolling $1000+ cables can be deeply fulfilling - hard to argue, ultimately).

I like to entertain my imagination with blue, silver and violet cables (stopped short of posting pictures of 50+ of thise, feels like hoarding.... but fulfilling:))

Science be damned I'm buying one solely for the color coordination with my Fan 2!

I was lucky enough to score a $60 gift card from Linsoul about 25 minutes after they went live.
The $100 ones sold out within 15 minutes, sadly.

The site instantly crashed when the GC sales went live last year :frowning2: couldn't buy the $100 GC.

Too much hassle for a discount in my book, Ali codes are hassle free and doesn't cost anything.

I saved $24 bucks when I used an Ali code to get a Mangird Tea 2 last year.

Interesting dual diaphragm single DD from Faudio:

https://shop.musicteck.com/products/faudio-spring

I think Faudio is an obscure boutique brand, first heard of them when Crinacle was doing reviews on his website (RIP.) and reviewed the Faudio Minor.

Not cheap by any means tho I love me some good single DD, I'd cough the cash if the FR is good.

I've been waiting for a review to pop up for this one.

5 minute impressions of the Artti R1 are positive. Deep bass, and nicely layered DD treble. There’s a smooth richness that I really like. A slight hint of shout that I hope will fade with a little use or tip/cable rolling. So far very happy to report it is what I hoped it would be.

More impressions to come in a few hours, when I can get some listening time.

The more I think it over I'm probably gonna try and get a deal on a tube amp and be happy this fall. Outside of that there's not really much that I want that's going to have any discount or a compelling one at that any time in the next 6 months.
