P8 sounds fantastic man. I just ssent the unit out to an audition tour among audiophile friends here. Now i want to get it back asap lol. Although Nanna 2.1 getting good time in the absence of P8.
I am listening to p8 a lot. Not sure if brain šŸ§  burn in or what but stuff sounds great on it and Iā€™m struggling listening to old gear. I am really excited to hear others impressions as well. Itā€™s a neat experience to get something new first.

I find aesthetic similarity with Joyodio VZ10 shown a few posts ago.

they doesn't even wait till Joyaudio VZ10 reviews and impression flows in before announcing AS24?

at least they wait for a bit for Joyaudio shine review flows in before announcing DFI before

The following data is an interesting test that prompted us to launch the new BA model- KZ AS24. Driven by a composite signal of the same voltage, use the laser rangefinder to test the effective response of three different positions on the DD and the BA diaphragm. The results show that only the top of the DD diaphragm responds effectively, while the edge of the DD diaphragm has no response due to split vibration. However, the BA diaphragm still has good transient response at various positions. In this case, you will find that DD is better than BA in the graph, but the sound density of BA is far better than DD in the actual listening sense. In another case, it also proves that judging the sound quality or characteristics only by the graph is not strict and professional enough in the IEM industry.

Do you have SR5 right now or just considering?

I see you have AQ4 on sale, and keeping DT200 which I also have. Any reason you didnā€™t feel AQ4 wasnā€™t your preference?
Just considering. I wanna pick up one of the well reviewed hybrids but just not sure which one. But it's looking like I should just wait for the P8 lol.

The DT200 are my gym beaters. But the AQ4 just doesn't really do anything that my EQ'd DT600 can't. Plus the dynamic in it just isn't that great, bass can sound kinda loose or uncontrolled. The only thing it does slightly better than the DT600 is that the timbre is slightly more natural sounding, the DT600 does have a tad of the artificialness that's common with BAs.

HBB review on Canon 2, really liked the original. Still there is so much coming out and this would probably be to similar to something I have.

Similar tuned position, more neutral. Compared to original Canon

Less vocal dip on ii and the bass has always been super solid on Yanyin looking forward to this one.

But these don't have time to wait!!

They have a productive power that is phenomenal.

They have to churn out products at rocket speed.

You just tagged a real head-fi user account named 1kHz 8 times...

Lol this made my day! šŸ˜‚
P8 price leaked at $379 at well see how far you can stretch fhe wallet and how much bass is a priority for you.
This is actually good price. Blessing 3 killer?

Wow tuning is my cup of tea. I don't like 4khz peak on the original canon, and bass bleed with slow bio driver bass that sounded "trapped".
Tuning is similar to Aful P8.

I like the Quartet a lot for almost all of my musical preferences, including classical (Haitink's Mahler cyclus), boy soprano, classic rock and pop. The iems are quite big and stick out a bit, but still they don't bother me for side sleeping.

My question is if anybody who has already tried the Aful P8 can tell me if the fit is similar.

P8 is better tuned and is smaller. The Quartet was a little large for me and had some pressure, but not terrible.

It does look pretty good. I think that is going be around the price of the P8, so I do find that Canon 2 interesting for sure. I mean Blessing 3 is a good iem, but to me it's not that great. It's hard to justify, but am closely watching it as it seems interesting and HBB really liked it, yet hasn't scored it yet.

Thanks, really helpful information.
Now the German website is down. Well, I need time to decide anyway, seeing how many similarly priced iems are announced or already out.
