This might be the wrong place to ask, but does anyone have recs for super short usb-c to c cables? I'm looking for something cheap but flexible and sturdy to plug my Super X-Fi dongle into my phone.

Funny, just last morning I was enjoying Muse Power:

Colourfully bright in all senses, the same or similar 14.5 mm planar drive as in Stellaris. Actually, I was choosing between those two for a bright planar (to experience, and if anything to experiment with treble taming). Muse aesthetics won

Muse Power are surely bright, if not wildish in treble, and definitely hard to listen to electronically recorded music. With acoustic music - it can be a vivid enjoyment, at least for 10-15 minutes.

Muse Power do have enjoyable mighty (but fast and not drony and overspilling as in some DDs) bass compared to Hexa!

So "V-head" should be an official term for craving for a balance or mighty superposition of the bass and the treble.

What cable is this?

PR2 has that treble which I am thinking of taming; I can not call it soft at all.

Yeah you should try hard modding or EQing them. I find a high shelf at 1500 with a Q of 0.5 and -2.5 dB puts them at about Heyday but I personally prefer to go even a bit lower at -3 dB right now

That's because there is alot of energy up there and Panar Bass is not weighted the same as DD so it seems even more.

Pretty sure I got this from head-fi or maybe it was Reddit a looong time ago and it's also awesome for testing bass especially bass texture. To my ears only the EA500 (after sub-bass EQ) does it justice as far as IEMs:

Different tips graph the same for me but I've only the one set I bought. Fwiw my graph is more similar to Ian's and HBB's which have about the same bass shelf as treble unlike yours unfortunately

Mine definitely looks and sounds bass shy maybe that's why I thought they lacked punch.

Actually I checked with some other reviews and our bass shelf aligned with each other. I still think the PR2 lacks the note weight punch DD drives do.
