Yes. I am officially a qdc tuning fan.
Of which You probably would have couple in mind. DUNU SA6, Tri Starsea, See Audio Bravery and high-end models, the qdc itself Anole series.

Nobody would expect a company had zero FR recording on western measurement database would ever be able to tune a good IEM.

Sound Rhyme, did proof their tuning skill by SR5 now, then we came up with simple question, “Are they really good or just one miracle shot?”.
Probably Sound Rhyme is a master tuner.

Try using these to cover the vent hole at the bottom of the nozzle. I only had the 3mm 400 mesh in my parts box but they work great to add bass, you can double them up to get more.

To be fair, Orchestra Lite with U-shape EQ can get dangerously close to high-end sound.

Price of good sound will keep dropping (as @AmericanSpirit wishes, for democratising head-fi). At the same time, there would always be “bigger fishes” with cutting edge tech and implementation. Those who wants that edge, must put up with poor price/performance.

Dusk is still a good set, I don't see this set dropping out of relevance anytime soon unless the B3 brings doomsday to the competition.

The orchestra lite indeed on my wish list, the tuning is really up to my alley, especially with much value price than SA6

But as @AmericanSpirit mentioned before: blessing 3 is right kn the corner, probably truthear flagship on the making, those sound rhymes, oh boy..

Yet I'm still convincing myself that i don't need those. Hard times we are living now

You don’t need them

These can offer better price/performance, but it doesn’t matter since you have Z1R AND Monarch II. Even the birds and the jewels might not be relevant given such collection.

Planar +4BA is new config to me hmm interesting.

I love that global01 store, its name is sooooo fishy and sketchy, but I know that’s the shop who started dealing Lafit ear, the niche of niche odd ball brand that shares some KZ supply chain components. Lafit ear is the only brand that utilizes KZ/CCA’s MST driver in their line ups, and it’s actually quite resolving.

Do you know any cheap but good IEM with sonion EST? I am thinking about adding an IEM with good EST implementation. Of course the monarch II is an option, but what else

IMHO, planar IEMs if they do need any help, it is for a DD to help their low end bass excursion, which is a weakness in some planar IEMs (note this does not apply to planar headphones but IEMs, probably because of the smaller drivers used in IEMs).

Most planar IEMs already have good treble extension and resolution, and I think the added BAs don't really bring much value add to the table. In fact, if you see the DUNU Talos, which has a hybrid mode with the BA kicking in, it makes the Talos very shrill and harsh, and most users keep to the pure planar switch on the Talos.
