Before the internet, knowing about music like this made you super-cool!
Sounds like the background music from a rather dodgy 60s party !
Or perhaps a dodgy early 70s soft porn movie

Ha. I appreciate the effort. But no, no good side, ambient lighting, or even beer goggles will get me past the liberal use of glitter. It's an automatic vibe-killer for me.Ah see, you need a different angle.
No? Here?

It's like a decease, the number of accounts that have been correlated with shilling.
And the last one I saw were not small reviewers or dealing with small brands.
HeadFi too is filled with fake account that will drown any comments that put lights on any critics specially youtubers and established brands.
You're one of the few I follow and thrust.
It cost nothing ro them to produce and the margins are so high when you hit the hype train...
great to hear. I am also not very exposed to multikilo IEMs yet and the sound impressions from many match with my preference as well. So I am very anticipating to hear mine (which I hope it is somewhere above Pacific ocean now?!) To me, the IEM doesn't look so weird or ugly, but it seems that al least the design gets divisive ratings.Day 3 with the Dunu Braindance. It's official. I'm in love.
I'm coming to realize that a set like this runs up against my lack of experience with more expensive IEMs. It easily outclasses everything I've heard and owned at $500 and below. My only comparable experience is with pricier full-size headphones, and it holds its own against them (Focal Clear? HEKse? HE6?). I recognize those are apples-to-oranges comparisons. Nevertheless, this is the first set of IEMs I've heard that play in the same sandbox as those top-notch full-size headphones. It's not that the Braindance sounds anything like those headphones, but it's that the overall experience I get is at that level. I'm stunned.
The comparison I'd most like to hear is matching the Braindance against the Mega5EST. Both are tuned close to the JM-1 target, but every criticism I've heard about the Mega5EST (intimate, non-technical, unexciting) is definitively not true of the Braindance. It is dynamic, spatious, and impressively detailed. Comparing FR graphs, it's easy to see that the Braindance is something like a u-shaped JM-1. The Braindance also takes a very different direction from the Bass Edition of the Mega5EST (which adds a wide bass shelf from the low mids down through the sub-bass).

Based on the graph with the OG Mega5 EST, i think i would love the DK3001 BD. I personally found the Mega5 EST to be a little too relaxing for my taste where the BD shows more energy up top. More sub-bass is always good, although mid-bass is slightly low, is that the case in the sound as well?Day 3 with the Dunu Braindance. It's official. I'm in love.

I just picked these up my self after being able to demo them courtesy of my buddy Jay. I liked em so much I decided to pull the trigger on his pair he was selling. sick Mid-bass on these with an easy listen for the rest of the FR. Build quality is top notch, too!Xenns Mangird Tea Pro
This is proper. Gifting these is definitely one way of getting someone into IEMs.
This is probably the most tastefully artistic faceplate I've had the joy of laying my eyes on. Turn these by a degree and colours will be totally different hue. The faceplate also has this different way of fitting where it's like a jewel inside its nest with an actual edge surrounding it. Marvelous. Little bro's first reaction was "Wooaaah".
Sound? Let me first get through the obvious new shiny excitement, but - trying to stay objective - these have some serious potential.
Looks fabolous ! I hope I can listen it one day ...Xenns Mangird Tea Pro

Had the OG Zetian Wu: looked good anew but prone to scratch easily.Tangzu know a thing or two about design. Those Wu Zetian always looked class as well.

I see one of the very early reports is parroting the one negative that has plagued this line since the NX7 Pro, a less than wide soundstage. Out of curiosity, I dusted off my Pro, slapped on a newer cable and connected to my Hiby R4. Just to see if newer peripherals would make a difference. There is some overall improvement to the width of the soundstage, but I'll have to do some further tinkering with the Hiby M.S.E.B., to add some note weight, to the male vocals.
Pricing:
Looks like we'll know in a few days, but the pricing looks to be somewhere around $190 - $199 USD
Based on $199, there's a
store coupon for $20 off of purchases > than $190, "NX8NX8". I think it's for the NX8
Black Friday AliExpress coupon for $20 off of purchases > than $139, "USBF20"
Plus there's mention of a bonus 4.4mm cable being included

It was a very different time when in 1995 soundtracks started surfacing and movies like this one were new to US watchers. The actual film maker was also a Jazz musician, though I’m not sure, or I don’t remember if he played on this OST. I’m actually an obscure movie buff, and movie like this are my favorites.
But ya, they played music like they were sloppy and..........
You should see the filmmakers wife!Discussing visual appeal, the brunette is a very fine looking lady.
I’m a big fan of their visual aesthetic. Strong retro-mecha vibes. I dig it.great to hear. No idea how they directly compare. I’m also curious. Haven’t heard the Mega5EST myself. But in a vacuum, I find the Braindance to be very detailed and dynamic. I don’t miss the mid-bass at the tuck, but a few others have noted it. To my ear, it’s a completely smooth transition with zero bass bleed. YMMV obvs.Based on the graph with the OG Mega5 EST, i think i would love the DK3001 BD.
