Fiio JD10 in the house! First impressions: CHEAP build... The faceplate with holographic reflections would have looked good but you can see it's cheap and kind of scratched-up. The tips actually aren't garbage though, and the cable, though instantly upgraded, looks like a slightly better KZ copper cable.
Sound: cheap QKZ and KZ sets should be scared. Real, clean and solid bass, but with glorious vocals and highs. A GREAT first entry introduction to Fiio IEMs for me.

after releasing surprisingly well recieved KZ Saga and PRX
KZ set to release... super budget iem that most possibly set even below the cheapo EDC-Pro...

KZ Dawn
1DD, fixed cable, most possibly sub$10
(EDC-Pro with detachable cable, often appears at discounted $6.5 in local market, this might be below that on discount)

Hi guys, I asked to DUNU to start and coordinate a tour for their flagship iem "Glacier" for Europe countries. I was curious to try them, so here comes the idea to start a tour with them, because probably there are other users interested in this iem. DUNU suggested to me to ask here how many users are interested in the tour. If we reach a good number of interested users they will ship the iem for the tour. Please if you are interested write in the official thread of Dunu:

Glacier is a badass unit, good luck! Get that interest up for sure, I know DUNU would get some good exposure with a EU tour of it.

Uhm... Tuning of the year? Ultimate U?

Subbass focused but got midbass in a linear response ✅
Pinna gradually and smooth lifting towards 8k instead of the typical Harman 3k ✅
Bass and upper midrange/lower treble same volume ✅

So basically, clarity and impact and... body! 😌 right now what is lacking is variations product and driver diversity with that tuning. Harman is still spamming strong, even with its flaws.

The Tripowin x 0diBi Vivace is a collab with a South Korean audio reviewer. Price TBC but I think this is a budget one.

Vivace 1.jpg

It uses a 10 mm titanium DD, with a PET diaphragm. Easily driven and fits well.

Sound-wise, the Vivace seems to be one of those new "META" balanced and fatigue-free type tunings - mostly U-shaped - with a 7 dB ear gain translating to minimal shoutiness in the pinna gain region. Very easy to appreciate for longer listening sessions.

Timbre is good with authentic note weight. I'm not sure what is the price bracket to compare against other benchmarks, but technicalities would be classed as above average if this were a budget pair under $50 USD.

Will do more testing and report back.
How's the fullness in the bass? Typically Titanium offers a little less or cleaner mid bass bleed and presence, while having pronounced upper mids.

Here comes the Titanium single DD revolution? I remember when this type of driver hit the market, and I "discovered" a woodie, which I cannot remember who produced it, that became fairly popular around these parts.

Speaking of Tinnitus, does anyone have a bad case of it? I've been living with it for years and years now, I've lost count tbh, and I've been doing some exercises to try to mitigate it but to no avail. If anyone has any tips that's worked for them, I'm all ears (pun intended). Thanks in advance!
yep, i will have days where i cannot have anything around my head at all really. no tips, just know you arent alone, its a miserable experience.

use earplugs in loud environments folks, and don't listen too loudly.

Starting the weekend immersed in Nostalgia Audio Camelot, paired with their Lancelot cable.

While I'm usually more of a headphone enthusiast and rarely consider spending more than $1000 on IEMs (headphones just seem like a better value for my personal preferences!), the Camelot has truly won me over.

Has impactful and textured sub-bass with impressive extension and control.
Highly resolving midrange with accurate timbre and precise imaging, allowing for really good separation of vocals and instruments.
The treble is refined, airy and effortless with excellent detail retrieval, extending the soundstage without introducing sibilance or harshness.

While I also usually gravitate towards single DD IEMs for their inherent cohesiveness, Camelot manages to achieve a level of sonic unity that's rare to find in multi-driver setups, proving that a well-executed design can overcome the challenges of driver integration.

@gadgetgod will vouch for this. He apparently loves his a ton too.
