I wonder if these will be at CanJam SoCal?!? They definitely look promising!!
To each their own. Looks like another boring Harman-hugging tuning, just like the original Zero Blue/Red.
Linsoul sent me the DAWN Ms and after having very little information and not knowing what to expect, I was very impressed with my initial OOTB impressions. I'm glad I'm not the only one and I too think TDM will like them.
You f*ckers! I thought I was out of the budget IEM game to save for 11.11, but the sound signature of this reads almost perfect for me as a mid-bass lover.
Just a quick response about this.

It's not a marketing gimmick.
When you produce an industrial thing, you never product all the devices in one batch (+ all packaging, who is very special here).
Without going into too much detail, the first point concerns the materials ordered, which we don't receive all at once. This may be because the supplier can't deliver everything at once, or simply to avoid having a batch with defects and wasting time dealing with the problem.
On its side, your company has a production rhythm and organises itself to produce certain quantities, according to its machine tools and the employees at its disposal.
Then there's optimisation: you produce a quantity, you see what did or didn't cause a problem, then you do other batches where you've improved your production process (or you don't change anything, but at least you've been able to do some real quality control).

In short, it's normal not to produce everything at once. It's even a mistake to do so because the goal (at least for Letshuoer) is to have the best possible quality.

Finally, i don't think they'll do any more of this special S12: for example, Dunu did the same with the SA6 Ultra. You only have to look at what they did next
Thanks for the intel. I learned something today! I'm still skeptical but less so than yesterday since I've read your good information.
While people are shocked by the latest TSMR, they decided to tease an upcoming new TSMR.

An IEM shell that looks like lovely sandstone or a bowl of tortilla chips. Your call!
It's here! Little Bear.

Sorry! I mean this one:

A quick listen via Xduoo X20 and Tin Hifi T3 with this:

Where did all that detail come from? Amazing layering, detail and soundstage. No harshness up top, beautiful mids and solid bass with speed, punch and attack. INSANE! @FreeWheelinAudioLuv2 thank you. Once again. I have a bunch of new IEMs!

Again, you f*ckers! I was thinking of getting a tube amp for my ZMF Aeolus and HD 6XX, and this one could also be used for IEMs.

What's the power output of this baby? Wonder if it has enough juice to properly drive the Aeolus and 6XX.

I don't want to get a tube amp just to say I have one. Need to ensure it can drive my over-ears to proper fidelity. The Little Bear looks really promising -- and economical for this cheap f*ck! :)

Can I get the link to this? I could use this for my ZEN air CAN.

Yes, I bought a FiiO cable from a place called the, first Fashion store, lol. They must be experiencing a lot loss with refunds because they messaged me after my transaction went through to make sure that I really needed my first Fashion cable. I confirmed and we shook on it.

This is why once one's happy with their bunch of (however many) IEMs, the next step should definitely be exploring sources. Actually no, before sources you ought to get some Coreir Brass tips.

I'm interested in this thing now as well. Haven't tried any tubes yet and this is at a friendly entry-level price. But that begs the question, is it wiser skipping a level or two and stretching for something (supposedly) better?

I haven't seen too many tube amps around the price range of the Little Bear, but @AmericanSpirit was pushing this one last year to pair with the Butastur.

xDuoo has an upcoming tube amp with their XD05T. Not sure if price has been revealed yet.

Muse HiFi also has the M5 Ultra that's coming out soon. @atechreviews put out a utube video about it recently and if I didn't just purchase the Quloos MUB1, the M5 Ultra would definitely be on the top of my wishlist for a BT DAC/amp.

Watched the review. It looks very interesting. Tube bt dac-amp with LDAC. Won't there be any interference issue? Heard tubes are very sensitive to things like wifi and bt.

Thanks! Most tempted by the xDuoo. Let's start counting those pennies while we wait to hear the price.

Cool to know. I also wonder what the projected sales of something like the S12 2024 are compared to their limited run production numbers. I could be wrong, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they line up pretty closely. Since they’ve already had three prior versions, I’d at least imagine that their projections would be pretty accurate.

People who have now heard the Dawn MS, how does it compare to the Delci? Looking at Vortex's measurements they look pretty similar up to the treble region.
I have never heard the Delci, but I cannot imagine the treble being similar AT ALL, given how the treble of the Delci has been described since they got released, which if accurate, exemplifies how much bull :poop: a graph reading actually is.

Half the posters here seem to be reviewers, or are in the trade, which is great for learning about new products but would it be an idea to just have a thread for normal users who can discuss items they've bought and are familiar with? I ask as it's easy to be sucked into thinking that products I've bought a few months ago are now out of date and old news.
Just discuss it. What you need to learn about this thread is that there are no rules of engagement other than try and be courteous (which fails at times) and topical of audio discoveries. You wanna talk about your 4 month old Slapaudio Scintilla IEM, then do it!!! In the last couple days, I've spoke about the Castor (OLD), the BX-4 (OLD), the Sennheiser IE800 (SUPER OLD), and KEF M200 (a decade OLD). There has been responses and chatter about those posts after, so there isn't a need for another thread. I even started a thread on request a couple months back, about test tracks, and that's D.O.A. The daily album listening with IEMs thread, spun off the Headphones thread, is barely participated in. So the chances of yet another thread being as active and spontaneous as this one, with "normal users", is as minimal as the chances of KZ truly releasing the endgame IEM? So just participate. Share your thoughts, loves in audio, music, gear, and discoveries, and don't worry about what other people do, be that reviews, sell merch, shill, or fawn. Just be you, and share. Just like I do.

YES! I love your last sentence! I'm super stoked you enjoy the B4-X like I do, and I'm not going crazy, but more than anything, YES to that last sentence. It's like having a bunch of NEW IEMs all over again!! It's made me systematically go back and listen to all my IEMs closely. Well said.

Oh and congrats!!! :beerchug:

Thanks for pointing out, I think yeah must be a typo, maybe it should be 2 in 1 BCD, so it’s actually 2 units but stick together as 1, like those BAs.
this is correct, I spoke with MusicTeck about this and those BC drivers come together as a pair by default. So it’s technically 2 in 1 BCD; can really be written either way.

A complication is that most IEM “reviewers” are also just “normal users.” Only a few reviewers approach what I’d think of as professional level. The rest are just hobbyists like the rest of us who get deals, tour sets, or free gear in exchange for reviews. I’m not someone who’s rushing out to get the latest and greatest releases, but I enjoy watching the “speedy race cars” going by at a steady clip without feeling the urge to join the race. Mostly I’m here for the conversation.

Yeah. Seems like no shortage of conversation about old sets, new, and everywhere in-between. This really is more of a “watercooler” thread than the actual watercooler thread IMO.

In my signature most of my favourite IEMs are ones I have had for a while. The B4-X has given them a shot in the arm. My brother who is an audio enthusiast has always championed the merits of valves. He has built many valve amplifiers and knows a lot about the valves themselves. There certainly is a wonderful tonality on the Little Bear which reminds me of vinyl replay, that warm yet satisfying analogue sound with a woody bass, deliciously addictive mids and silky treble. Staging is fabulous. I can't thank you enough for recommending it. My best audio purchase for many years.
