Today's special: Pula PA02. @ToneDeafMonk wasn't lying.
These IEMs sound great!
Textured, grippy bass and a balanced sound signature makes this a good option for vocal centric pop and EDM.
I got one...it's insanely powerful. I expected it to be warmer...but it's not.
And it drains the battery pretty fast.
Another thing with the battery is that while you are charging, four red dots tell you how full it is.
But once it's full, these red lights are off, and there is no indication of how much you have left while running the amp.
Perhaps I am doing something wrong, or that is the way; you don't know the battery status.

Nice! Doesn't the little button on the back make the battery indicator light up to show you what the level is?
Interesting that it doesn't sound warm. Do you still feel it gives some tube-ish distortion effects, or is it pretty much like listening to solid state?

2 Hours of the Crystal Method last night until I fell sleep at high volumes not sure how I did that actually. Dream were kinda trippy too! Glad to hear your enjoying your set as well!
I have it for a couple months.
They are somewhat different. The ADV is even more powerful than the Runabout but also way warmer.
Mind you, I swapped the opamps on mine so mine may not sound like the stock version.
The Runabout is the safer choice, but if someone wants a AMP that pairs well with a planar, or a general brighter IEM, this might be a good choice.
I'd say so...I paired it with Zishan Z4 (even though Z4 is powerful enough itself),
and Z4 seemed to me warmer running solo than when it's paired with ADV.
There is an on/off switch on the back, and another is...wait a minute...hahaha, I overlooked it; you're right; there is a small button, not a switch
Thanks, man!
I still think it is enjoyable; it can power 300 ohm headphones easily, like HD820.
And now, with all red lights indicating battery life...it's a gem for $100 )))
The Jialai Carat is a 10 mm Titanium-plated DLC DD.
Moondrop KATO is that you? Haha it looks like the KATO with the mirror-like finish, but the Carat is a bit more V-shaped, with more bass and treble.
Still burning in and will do A/B comparisons, but the Carat is a bright Harmanish DD. Instead of having the highest peak at the upper mids, the Carat's peak is actually at the 5ish kHz region. In essence, the sound is not shouty at the upper mids but you have a lower treble clarity boost.
Initial impressions are that this set is on the brighter side, with fast and crisp transients, slightly thinner note weight. Good technicalities like imaging and soundstage.

I end up getting a pair of Muses 02 Opamps, suggestion of @AmericanSpirit.
Until today I liked the amp, but, it was making a lot of ground noise, but with the prime DAC, is very very silent.
I'm actually amazed by the synergy of these conbo
if you want neutral, ensure the driver have the tech and resolution to back it up.
or its just ended sounding hollow and boring,
i was gonna compare it with Aria snow as i thought the graph will be similar but wow, it have less amount of bass than aria snow
