LETSHUOER DZ4 price confirmed.

I was thinking $109-ish, very competitive!

DZ4 is worth the price tag that I can underwrite, no shame in offering that price tag.

Both the Letshuoer DZ4 and Simgot EM6L have wide nozzles of 6mm that I have to avoid getting even I am intersted in both.

Why not using ear tips that creates buffer spaces between ear canal and the nozzle? Spinfit W1 or H570 does that job pretty well, you don’t necessarily need to stuff nozzle into your canal. It will ease the discomfort for long term listening

Floaudio Bluelover 6BA

It probably needs 30min or so initial run, right out of box, timbre was terribly mushy, it‘s clearing up. Very rare to see BA that clears up.

Audiosense DT600 is that you?
IMG_8892.png

the 300hz “midbass bleed” maybe a dealbreaker for some, but I’m good with it, hey even Apple‘s AirPods Pro did the same warmth bump😄

Pretty neat 6BA that floaudio published, great job making an affordable and enjoyable IEM!

Ok this arrived.

I’m very impressed especially with L&P W2’s external power sourced performance aiding iphone’s BUS outlet.

The splitter has icon indicator which one is power socket and which one is OTG socket, so don’t make mistake.

My best surprise of this year😭😭😭

Properly amped W2 could perform like DAP!!

IMG_8877.jpeg
Solved☑️: USB dongle sucks power out of my already half dead smartphone battery 🪫

Solved☑️: USB dongle is underpowered by weaker phone‘s BUS power and not fully performing

However you may point
“ but that’s not portable and I don’t want swing those around to cause connection issues and kinda bothersome feeling”

IMG_8879.jpeg
Solved☑️: Portability and outlook of a messy set up

I’m still waiting the mobile battery to fit into this carrying pouch, so I placed W2 to where I intend to put the powerbank.
IMG_8878.jpeg

A-B tested with same DD Hifi’s lightning to USB C interconnect

IMG_8876.jpeg

Sleek and geeky look of an audiophile’s smartphone hifi sound set up project: successful 👏😭
IMG_8879.jpeg

I’m sourcing power from laptop so the noise sensitive dongle like Cayin RU6 will pick up laptop’s noise, hiccup-less mobile
battery maybe needed for those, but W2 had no issues, it simply got amped.IMG_8880.jpeg

P.S.

Other stuff I ordered also arrived from the AE’s delivery package!

It looks like Floaudio is adding a bonus cable to those first pre-order batch.

ithought the cable gift was only for me. haha

Surprisingly, this one sounds really good, I just wonder why this one isn't gaining traction among audio enthusiasts.

TKZK Ouranus
I find that the trouble with the Ouranos is that it's good IEM with a nice cable but not good enough to compete with the other options at it price point. For example A C2 Mech Warrior or Heart Mirror (Zero) outperform the Ouranos. And as both are cheaper, it makes the Ouranos a though sell.

Yea with modern DAP that actually pushes up the bass a lot, that bass floor is somehow bothersome to many.

I recommend to get from neutral DAP or bypass the amp part, source it from line-out, then Bluelover will be pretty amazing

I’d add Kiwiears Dolce, Truthear Hola, Tripowin Lea to the list, sub $30 is chaotic nowadays😵‍💫

Too busy and many managed to get good B-grade.

Sancai Ear tips by Tangzu.
I received along with Princess Changle as an apologetic compensation to Tangzu Encounter purchaser, Changle is pretty neat bullet IEM, similar to NiceHCK X39, and this Samcai ear tip is pretty neat one too.

Natural is what I may refer, it does nothing special, no weird sound alternation, probably cutting off sub-bass slightly but not by significant amount.

For $3-4 ear tip, it’s a good choice.

How do you find the Changle? Tonally it is decent, but quite weak technically. Surprisingly hard to drive too. Maybe a 3/5 score.

It is very beautiful though. More of a beginner IEM, but might make a decent gift too.

Yea same with yours, tonality wise , well done, the metal housing does good job in taming excessive distortions.

But afterall, it’s an average bullet IEM, an entry level one, not for audiophile grade, good sleeping aid.

I didn’t even bother to write anything about Changle😪

@AmericanSpirit did you try meetalice with Quartet?
Not yet, any good?

I got both 3.5mm and 4.4mm of MeetAlice, pretty decent cable for the asking price is my first impression, but not a flagship class like MoonGod & Dragon Scale, it feels like a 50-60USD UPOCC class.

Nothing special grade tips. In both areas: comfort and sonic.
