For anyone doubtful of the existence of the Monarch MKIII, take a look at the description on this Instagram post.

The BlackSoul cable is stunning! Is it good on SQ? How is the characteristic? I want good warm pure copper cable actually.
I have no complaints, under sale it gets down to $35. I am not sure if it's my imagination or not, but on brighter IEMs it does seem to relax the treble slightly.

Why I thought about using it on EA500.

I like how the Black Soul is made and how it handles. I’ve got two so far. I really don’t care if it has any impact on the sound. It’s a fabulous cable all on its own.

Wholy SMOKES! These things sound amazing. I am having a hard time trying to figure out what $100 IEM competes with how these sound right now. I haven't heard a $100 wired IEM with an equivalent sound stage that's for certain. Wide and deep stage. Natural warmth, with a hint of a rich organic tonal character. Extremely well balanced but supremely dynamic. Not the most detailed presentation but more musical leaning. Perfect for getting into your tunes outdoors. Love it. Bass hits hard when called on, mids are present in full force. Trebles sound clean and has excellent extension as well. Wow... The SQ is easily equivalent to their FW5 but $50 cheaper? At $100 these are a serious bargain for their SQ. You guys might prefer these to a lot of your wired IEMs. No kidding.
I had the same experience with the Campfire Orbit. Your description of the FW3 sounds similar to what I hear with the Orbit. It is very musical. My most expensive IEM is around £200 and the Orbit challenges all but a handful of my collection of over 40 wired IEMs.

Was not well for the past few days but I got to spend some crazy time with the HiBy Zeta, a 1400$ flagship from the house of HiBy. First and foremost, i would like to thank HiBy for organizing this review tour in India.

some short impressions(video review will come later this week):-
Zeta sounds quite unique and different. I say unique because most IEMs around the 1000-1500$ bracket kind of follow a neutral-ish and balanced approach but the Zeta handles things differently. It has a strong bass-focused sound the bass extension is crazy good and the bass control is even better. Stunning slams, clear rumble, and an amazing midrange clarity complement the strong lower end. Instruments have a good heft to them, staging has got good depth, and the instruments sound nice and weighted. Treble is mostly smooth and inoffensive. Not a very detailed set but quite amusing and captivating.

Some Eye-Candy:-

Humm.. I didn't see any Blessing at all, just Tri Star Rivers :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Do you mean the technicalities? a lot (from different price range), Mest Mk1, Mest Mk2, UM Indigo, QDC Anole VX, EE Odin, Sony M9

Sweet. Well Monarch Mk II sounded like multi kilobucks, but for me just because a lot of multikilobucks IEMs are badly tuned. Your u12t still on S class standard while monarch MKII i put on A+, still have some cons and quite critical for me (bass quality), small soundstage (for TOTL level). Mids are delicate though.

Good multi kilobucks can be counted with 1 hand, seirously. Lot of multi kilobucks that actually just about race of the high end drivers, but bad implementation and tuning.
For me only Odin is up there on S class (possibly Subtonic Storm but I haven't get chance to try them). Still thinking the best IEMs mostly occupied by $1000-2000 segment, and best value too.
Andromedia and Sony Dap brought back to life a bunch of 128 mp3s. I baby those guys, no listening while sleep and I never take them out. 😎👍

I just discovered that Poweramp EQ has changed a little bit (Android 10+ devices) and it seems that now we can select directly some PEQ among the AutoEQ project parameters (based on Harman 2019V2 frequency target)..
For IEM's that a good thing to make things much easier to start with some parametric EQ based on Haman 2019v2 target and then adapt these automatic EQ to our personal preferences..

I think for Android DAP and phone users, Poweramp EQ is a must for people who owns many IEMs and want to select automatically with BT connection the PEQ we prefer.

Keeping up with you starts to cost me dearly. METEOR, MONARK..
If you were at least fond of cheap stuff ..😂😂

This setup can be practical endgame for most people. Swap for BTR7 or G5 if you want a bit more power from the source. Add the meteor and you are pretty covered for most genres and mood.

Now that $370 IEM reaches entry-level kilobuck, what should be the next level  $200 IEM sounding like kilobuck? $500 IEM catching up with multi-kilobuck? Exciting time for newbie in this hobby. Not too great for those of us who puts lots of money into kilobucks of the yester-years :dt880smile:

Edit: P8 is very easy to drive. Not “Andromeda 2020 easy” (loud as heck but sound poor unless the source is pristine and can push current into low ohm). Just very easy to squeeze the sound quality out, like 64 audio IEMs. Btr5 over AAC still sounds very nice.

Hey was thinking to get the BTR7 for casual companion to my phone on the go, since dongles are dangling and a bit hassle to me. Any good?

An anecdote from observing a customer at local hifi store: the grandpa came to buy Sundara (steep discount at that time). The store gave him BTR5. He tried, nodding along, but not very convinced. The store swapped the cable to 4.4 and gave him Btr7. Instant buy after a few songs :dt880smile:

He told me whether it is trickery or illusion, the whole combo just sound nicer, crisper, punchier, and less distorted (he listens loud. I can hear from two seats away).

This is my setup right now:
BTR7 (fantastic) and EA500.
Awesome combination.

The BTR7 sounds great and powerful.
The only lack in my humble opinion is the volume adjustment with a wheel
(I hate the keys, the lack of immediate and instinctive volume adjustment gives me concern)

Haha it’s using eyes of blessings to see other IEM.
