This is like the most unknown IEM ever.Do you know Moondrop has released an limited Ety copy single BA before?
It was called X-01, in collaboration with chinese reviewer xuan er ji CMIIW
You'd think more people would know about this like how some people remember Moondrop made an Aria in 2018
Looks very DIY, no branding whatsoever.
I'm guessing Moondrop only made like 10 units or something because there is next to zero info on these other than the image source: https://zhuanlan.zhihu.com/p/131336663

I would agree the S&S may not be big but it goes further into my ear canal it just works for tips I would normally use a 13.5 or 14mmThe shape of the tip has a huge impact on the seal, especially with the S&S tips.

Metalheads of head-fi.....Fearless Audio Shangri-la is a metal music DREAM! The colossal stage along with the ability to peel layers coupled with the excellently fast bass with thump makes this ideal for fast passage metal like black metal and progressive metal genres, and technical death metal. Been a pleasure listening to metal with these.
treble isn't the most extended, but enough to provide good timbre and resolution. Not a detail monster, but separation is top notch.

Very trueBoiled egg has two drivers: the yoke and the white. It comes in a nice shell, too.

I blame y'all for making me bite the bullet. Ended up ordering the FW-1800. The same driver as the flagship FW-10000 for $220... too hard to pass on lol. Plus they gave USD$40 in-store credit as cashback.
Now hopefully German customs won't be too hard on them.
Damn, they dropped the DROP reward points today from 4000+ to a measly 219 only:
LOL probably too many people sprung on this firesale price and DROP realized the cashbacks would be burning a mega hole in their pocket!

As far as I'm concerned they can drop dead.

I think it was a glitch of some kind that they fixed. Either way, it's still showing on my profile, which means sooner or later I am gonna buy something else from Drop. Nice bait.Damn, they dropped the DROP reward points today from 4000+ to a measly 219 only:

Yeah that was special very limited with limited publication too. Collaboration between local chinese reviewer and Moondrop but never gone official. Wow, you've been so lucky to hear that, still remember the impressions? Heard that X-01 sounded very similar to Etymotic's.

Do you take me for an overgrown kitten? I'm always up for a challenge like this, so I'll take a punt at guessing. Possibly wet, due to the drop motif reminding me of fluid. That center graphic has some sort of ribbed pattern and what appears like a small slit at the bottom.New Moondrop IEMs incoming. Named "Droplet". Apparently another USB-C equipped, DSP-totting budget offering.
The design is fairly unique though, reminds me of something I cannot type here lol
I'll go check with my ouiji board and see if the spirits can come up with....
Waiting....
Oh come on it can't be that hard!
"Vul#^@...!"
Well that was no use! Vulgar maybe? Vulture (I doubt that).
Got it!
It was the...
DUNU VULCAN
The whole wet thing was a red herring, the drop referred to the shape. I thought I smelled something fishy! The ribbed feature is the Damascus patterning and the slit is the vent on the bottom of the faceplate.
What's so wrong with the Dunu Vulcan that you can't even mention it? Is DUNU a banned brand too?
