I can get the Seeaudio Yume II for $135. Is there any better iem out there in this price range ?

That is 20 better than I bought it. For the money that is value. It is a 200 dollar iem.

You'd think more people would know about this like how some people remember Moondrop made an Aria in 2018

Looks very DIY, no branding whatsoever.

The shape of the tip has a huge impact on the seal, especially with the S&S tips.

I would agree the S&S may not be big but it goes further into my ear canal it just works for tips I would normally use a 13.5 or 14mm

I blame y'all for making me bite the bullet. Ended up ordering the FW-1800. The same driver as the flagship FW-10000 for $220... too hard to pass on lol. Plus they gave USD$40 in-store credit as cashback.

Now hopefully German customs won't be too hard on them.

I think it was a glitch of some kind that they fixed. Either way, it's still showing on my profile, which means sooner or later I am gonna buy something else from Drop. Nice bait.

Wait a minute.. So that one is moondrop colab? I've auditioned it some time ago, i remembered that i quite like it, but i only knew that it was xuanerji, and didn't know that moondrop has anything to do with it..

Yeah that was special very limited with limited publication too. Collaboration between local chinese reviewer and Moondrop but never gone official. Wow, you've been so lucky to hear that, still remember the impressions? Heard that X-01 sounded very similar to Etymotic's.

New Moondrop IEMs incoming. Named "Droplet". Apparently another USB-C equipped, DSP-totting budget offering.

The design is fairly unique though, reminds me of something I cannot type here lol

Do you take me for an overgrown kitten? I'm always up for a challenge like this, so I'll take a punt at guessing. Possibly wet, due to the drop motif reminding me of fluid. That center graphic has some sort of ribbed pattern and what appears like a small slit at the bottom.

I'll go check with my ouiji board and see if the spirits can come up with....

DUNU VULCAN​

The whole wet thing was a red herring, the drop referred to the shape. I thought I smelled something fishy! The ribbed feature is the Damascus patterning and the slit is the vent on the bottom of the faceplate.

What's so wrong with the Dunu Vulcan that you can't even mention it? Is DUNU a banned brand too?
