Post your question there, this is a deal thread. You will get a wide variety of recommendations and people that will help you. Just from what you are asking though, It will be tough to recommend anything closed because typically closed headphones have V shaped sound sigs, meaning recessed mids. People in that thread should have more to add, and probably some headphones to recommend. Only warm sounding closed headphone that is fit for a budget that I can think of is Shure SRH-840. Good Luck

Thank you.

RMC is not going to be carrying ultrasones anymore due to not being able to work with ultrasone on their prices.

The Amazon Prime price is less than $1 higher.

Huh... Didn't hear that, very interesting but makes sense. Sennheiser can try to set prices because there is such a demand. The demand for ultrasones seems so slim.

His link was for the Palladium edition, yours is for the ordinary Ruthenium edition which is always cheaper.

Gosh I hope not, I don't think I can afford it!

I have now learned that there are three liveries of the same can.

What's even more confusing is that they all "sound the same". Or at least according to ultrasone. But some people have reported pretty drastic differences in sound. However, this could be same variation in sound people reported between the headphones when there was only one pair in production. Weird stuff!
