well actually, i don't see them depreciating soon, there isn't anything available at that price with that sound. Bassy, but not too much, warm and euphoric, a fun headphone, thats easily driveable (but benefits from an upgrade) 
 
But then again if Fostex brings out a TH300 I see them plummeting.

Very refined compared to the ZX700. I think the 1Rs will continue to drop, and within 6 months the $180 price will be a norm. In the meantime, this is a pretty good price. Although the bluetooth one was selling somewhere for $225, which isn't too bad either.

Im debating these or the amperior, i can grab those cans for 160(refurb). note that I have a hd555 at home, and the akg k518le and k67 on2go, Not sure if I like the amperior or not either cuz i'm not a fan of the treble on those guys.

Thanks, pulled the trigger.  Been looking at some headphones around $300 and this was a good deal.  Sad I missed Fidelio L1's for $150 last week though.

Just as a note I decided to see if I could find anything of interest to me and I did end up finding an item. I found out that the coupon has already been cancelled by Mastercard, but the manager was great and went ahead and went through with it. So just to let you know it's supposed to be cancelled. I did get lucky and pick up a nice webcam in the process. No headphones that really interested me and any that weren't didn't interest me.
