Dude, you've got T1s and you want to put them on a $5 stand?? What are you thinking??? lol
Get those beautiful T1s a stand that is worthy of being in their presence for gosh sakes!  Like this! http://www.head-fi.org/gallery/image/view/album/469828/id/541702/sort/display_order

I bought two of those stands and think they're fantastic...I don't know what people want for five bucks!

Well they spend their time tucked away in the aluminum box whenever I'm not using them; it just gets a bit inconvenient having to dust all the residual felt every time I take them out, lol.
I honestly expected a relatively well executed aluminum stand, based on the pics and 5 star reviews. I was prepped to cover the top with spare foam pads, to alleviate pressure; but the stand didnt live up to my expectation.

PS: I expected a $15 quality stand, considering they were $20 MSRP. My $10 wodden banana stand makes the rocketfish look like turd

I'm just bustin' ur balls, brother :)  I honestly was surprised to see how cheap it was when I took it out of the package since I bought it mainly to replace my hose hanger headphone stand, so I know where you're coming from. Im totally cool dropping the ten bucks on the pair of them, though....I gave one to my lady friend who is slowy but surely showing interest in headphones, and she was pretty pleased with it. The T1s are way too damn beautiful to put on this thing though :)

The $10 Amazon wood stand is actually fairly respectable and a great deal for the price. I wish it was taller though. I've got it set up and holding an AD1000PRM and a HF2 for my secondary rig. I'll post pics tomorrow.

How much does an LA D2000 normally cost?

The LA d2000 normally wouldve cost 349 im guessing, for the new d2000, plus 793 for the level 3 mod mine recieved with a 2.5m copperone cable and 1/4" furutech plug. Plus 16 for shipping. That comes to a total of 1158. During marks sale I got a new stock pair for 269 and the level 3 mod cost 649 instead of 793 plus 16 shipping coming to 934. I know that sounds like allot but its 224 off. On paper these headphones look better than the stock d7000 and 7100 in everyway except the driver which after tuning I think is debateable. Plus I like the fact that I have some one of a kind wood cups. The sale looks like its concluded though. dang.

I don't doubt that at all. I mainly use a D2000(at home) it was recabled by Chris_Himself + I did the MarkL Mods myself and I am quite happy with them. I was really skeptical about the whole thing, but it really did change them for the better. The Lawton wood cups are truly beautiful and no doubt sound great too.

Just mentioned DT1350 on sale not to long ago, but they added some Shure's on their closeout today. Open box return Shure 240 for $29.  And the Shure 840 and 940 overstock brand new for $119 and $179 each.

Shure SRH940 are unbelievably wonderful phones.  Jump on this price.
