I dunno about Beyer but they are on senn's unauthorized dealers list

Steve

They have an eBay store with 100% feedback, so I assume that they're legit. They don't come with any warranty, because they technically aren't a new item (because of defective packaging).

Shoreline isn't authorized, but they're legit. I've ordered a few things from there, all with no problems. Their closeouts often have really great deals.

DAMN! this is really tempting, i just got a pair of HD25s a few weeks ago.  i was also looking at either the m80 or lp2, but ended up with the hd25, for 80 bucks is this worth it to buy or hd25 good enough for me?

It's the Crossfade LP that is on sale, not the LP2. The LP doesn't get very good recommendations from those here at head fi

I think the M80 was considered the one to get here.

Crossfade LP1s are supposedly a significant downgrade (the bass does drown out some of the detail) from the HD-25s but for $80, it's actually quite a fair price if you needed a durable pair of headphones to throw in your bag on the go. Bought a pair for about that price in early 2012, and I've never really regretted it. The extra bass kick is actually welcome in loud places.

This one's selling like hotcakes.

Apparently a lot of people were on the fence about the Downtowns. It's only been 17 minutes and 23% have been claimed. Actually bought a pair for myself as well.

I wanted the purple ones just because I love the color and think purple headphones are outrageously unique, but haven't seen what it looks like in real life. Went with the cheaper and safer option of grey. I like the grey ones more than the black ones anyway.
