I hate you. I now have to convince myself not to buy these again

The "good" news is that, if you resist this time, there may be much fewer temptations in your future with the D2000 (+5000 & 7000) about to go the way of the dodo.

I guess it really depends on how well the replacements do. Nothing is really as luxurious as the woodies and they may become more rare and even more popular later when people realize what they missed.

If anyone is interested, EE is also discounting the Denon AH-NC800.   Imho, these sound better than the Bose NC phones and end up costing $173.01.   I live in NJ, so that added $12.11.    I figure that's pretty good considering these are selling for $299 just about everywhere else.

Your profile doesn't show what city you live in. Bay Bloor Radio has them in stock (online and in-store) for $299 + tax.

300+what? 50$ in taxes? Is a big difference from 210 shipped.

It is but we are talking about 2 different countries here.

Not sure where the $50 came from (I didn't say anything about 50$ in taxes) but I know they aren't going to send something to Canada for the same price they will to the USA. There's also brokerage fee....which is cheap if USPS is carrier...$$$ if not. Then there's the HST tax.

But like I said if he lives in GTA he can go into brick and mortar store and walk out with a pair for $299 + tax. This is the best price for new phones you will see for these from a vendor in Canada at the moment. You will not get them for $210 shipped to Canada so that is irrelevant.
