Buy them. Cable is not that bad. You will never experience that level of audio fidelity for $70

totally agree! They were out of stock of the Hd280's for almost 10 days & just got it back few days back. Representative told me yday they had hundreds in stock & was showing in stock today morning as well. As soon as coupon came out, it goes OOS! Hmmm...

Same here, I've never owned a closed headset, but I've listened to the HD280's YEARS ago, and figured I'd pick them up again on sale...

Just emailed, Brian at Razerdog and he asked me to make him an offer on the HD650, he's pricing them at $500 but I've read that they're worth around 350. Is that still true?

Saw them for 350 euro in Germany, which is roughly 450 USD. Should be even cheaper in the US. 500 doesn't seem like a very good deal.

I'd shoot for $400, $500USD is full retail.
