I ordered the denon 2000's for $200 shipped from jr.com every once in a while. I ordered around black friday but its still back ordered, so I cancelled and am currently looking at other options.
so around 240 aud is it a good buy? im in hk atm so dont have to worry about shipping. should i get this or the d1100? its cheaper and dosent need an amp
The ah-d1100 is cheaper, but I also find the build very very cheap. And the sound is a completely different story. I would not even consider the 1100 if I was willing to put 180 dollars on it. Go for the d2000's, great closed headphones, especially for 240

I'm looking for either HD580/600/650/555/558 padding to mod my ATH-M50 for more comfort on the head, but no place sells it in Canada. I've found online stores in the UK that sell it but they charge a ridiculous 50 euro shipping fee for a 8 dollar item.
B&H photo sells it and so does the Sennheiser USA store but Sennheiser USA doesn't ship to Canada, and they also seem to restrict shipping of that product to Canada by B&H Photo as well.....
If anyone knows where I can pick up one (other than eBay, which one person is selling for 27 dollars) that would be nice. I'm trying to keep costs below 20 dollars...

Not Sennheiser, but you can get Shure 840 pads for $20 from here (they are Canadian): http://www.stereotypeaudio.com
The Shure pads are much more comfortable than the M50.
