It it's below $259.99 then do you buy these?  What would be considered a great deal on these?  I know this last price they have on BF weekend didn't wow alot of people even though it was cheaper then previously offerred.

Hey guys, it looks like there is going to be a deal on Phiaton MS 400 in 4 hours, should I get these or the HFI 580 which are at $118 at B&H.

IE6 for $99 on Amazon. MEE M6-CL for $12 there as well.

I hate Amazon for putting the 600 on sale...again. I resisted last time but this is just uncool.

EDIT: And the MS400...Considering I'll be needing a new portable after Christmas...Damn it Amazon.

What's with the apathy on Amazon's HD600 for $260? Last I checked $260 was a pretty good deal for them and it's practically impossible to regularly find them cheaper. Were they substantially cheaper during last year's Black Friday?

No. They're 10 less than they have been on Amazon all year. I don't think it's apathy...They were sold out in a matter of minutes this time around.

It is funny how the HD600 original price of $314 jumped up to $519 before amazon added the 50% off. The actual deal is only 17% off, if you consider going from $314 to $260.

Believe it or not, $519 is the MSRP on the HD600.  It's just that no one sells it for that anymore.  Amazon always does this - lots of their regular prices are listed as discounts because the item no longer sells at MSRP.

This is also the case with the HD650s. The MSRP is $649, but everyone sells it for 499, at most.
