You may want to call them back as there is a "$15 off on all Orders over $150" coupon for Memorial Day going on. I ordered the Sennheiser 598 from them over the phone and they applied the $15 coupon to the amount. I actually have to get a hold of their customer service before they ship as they got my address wrong on the order.

Darn I just tried calling their customer service department and they're closed for today. Luckily the deal still lasts till tomorrow and haven't process my order yet. Seriously thanks for the heads up!!

On ebay - Sennheiser HD428's refurbished for $27.99 with free shipping. Wondering if I should get a pair myself, although I'm not sure how good refurbs are compared to the original.

It says manufacturer refurb.  If that's true, I've bought all kinds of gear that was manufacturer refurb with no problem.  No idea how to tell if it really is a Sennheiser refurb.

I've bought a refurb HD238 direct from Amazon before. And also contacted Sennheiser beforehand, they told me a third party does the refurb job for Sennheiser.  And the HD238 that I eventually got from Amazon turned out to be bad....
