Yeah can get it off Amazon for $700.  Don't think you can find D5000 for under $400.  Are you looking for D2000?

This thread is a place to post DEALS THAT YOU WANT TO SHARE ON HEADPHONES.  If someone sees a deal, they post it here.  People aren't hording deals waiting for someone to specifically request them.  99% of the time when someone responds to a request, they're just linking someone else's post from the previous page.  This thread used to be awesome, and now I'm disappointed almost every time I check it.

I realize this is somewhat limited, but figured it might be worth posting for those in the market to keep an eye out for. I got a very nice set of 600 ohm DT 770s through Amazon Warehouse Deals for $120, specifically through this link: http://www.warehousedeals.com/Beyer-Dynamic-DT-770-Premium-600/M/B0024NK36W.htm ; however there are only "Mint" condition sets available currently.

Condition was rated "Used - Very Good" with comments "Minor cosmetic imperfection on top, front or sides of item. Minor cosmetic imperfection on bottom or back of item." This may have been referring to the box, because the headphones themselves are flawless as far as I can tell. Came in the leather case and everything, the cord was wrapped and zip-tied and appeared as new.

Actually, I don't think the above was posted here yet. There are usually killer deals on Beyers in Warehouse deals. There used to be much better deals, like HD650's for $150, but they've started being less generous lately.
